He has undergone six weeks of chemotherapy, and radiation. He has also undergone surgery to remove a portion of his colon as part of the cancer treatment.
Later in the December of 2022, Jamie Raskin was diagnosed with the condition of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), a cancer condition that infects the B cell, also known as the fighting cells of the human immune system.

Jamie Raskin is an American author with half a dozen of published works. His first book was published in 1994, which he co-wrote with John Bonifaz, an American attorney and political activist.
The book was titled The Wealth Primary: Campaign Fundraising and the Constitution.
His other published works are Overruling Democracy: The Supreme Court versus the American People in 2003, We the Students: Supreme Court Cases for and about Students in 2014, Youth Justice in America, which he co-authored in 2014 with Maryam Ahranjani and Andrew G.
