RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, James Ross, who won the show in Season 2 as drag queen Tyra Sanchez, was detained in May after being involved in an accident. He was accused of threatening to shoot an officer.

The police report states that when the officers arrived on the spot, Sanchez got out of the vehicle and began calling them names.

Sanchez is later accused of shooting an officer and reaching inside her car as he tried to cuff her. The report further states that she tried to flee from the spot, but officers were able to catch her, bringing her into custody.

Tyra Sanchez was a former American drag performer and a reality television star who appeared on stage under the stage name. He often impersonated pop singer Beyonce. He is known as the winner of the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, where he took home $25,000.

Tyra was 33 in the year 2021. She was born on April 22, 1988, in Gainesville, Florida, United States. She celebrates her birthday on April 22 each year. Her sign of birth is Taurus.

Tyra Sanchez’s real identity is James William Ross IV, a drag queen and performer from the United States. She gained a lot of attention after she won”RuPaul’s Drag Race,” the second installment of the reality TV series “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2010.

Tyra Sanchez’s drag persona is known for her unique charisma, powerful performances, and striking runway outfits. Tyra Sanchez has been a regular drag performer since her appearance on the show.

Born in Gainesville, Florida, Ross moved to Orlando in the year 2000, where he lived most of the time. His drag mom was Angelica Sanchez Jones, a well-known drag queen in the Orlando region. While appearing in RuPaul’s Drag Race, Ross spoke honestly about his homeless experiences and struggles before submitting an audition and being selected to perform in the reality show. Ross’s old-school drag style and glam earned him the respect of the judges. Now living in Orlando, Ross performed throughout the United States and Canada.

When he was awarded this title, Ross was among the youngest contestants in RuPaul’s Drag Race. During the competition, he would often be referred to as RuPaul in the form of “the Tyra” or “the other Tyra” to avoid any confusion between Tyra Banks, America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks.

After winning Drag Race, Ross served as a drag teacher and mentor for beauty and fashion-challenged women in Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag U. In April of 2011, Ross released his first dance single, “Look at Me.” Ross released his second track, “Vogue,” on October 13th, 2016.

Ross later said Ross would not apologize for his views and continued to label suicide victims “selfish cowards. 16 A petition was launched in support of RuPaul to take back Ross the title and crown or, at the very least, to speak out against it.

Sanchez was involved in a confrontation with the law after she spray-painted the words “Don’t ever leave here” outside an apartment building in Atlanta. The report said the Drag Race winner lived there and was not paying her rent for several months.

In a post on social media, he subsequently resigned the name Tyra Sanchez in 2020, saying the singer “did not want to be called Tyra, Tyra Sanchez, her or she, girl or Queen.”
