Mike Pence, Former US Vice President hasn’t filed to run for president in 2024. Devin O’Malley, his adviser, wrote on Twitter on Monday about Mike Pence not filing for the next presidential election.
Twitter was filled with the news regarding Mike Pence filing to run for president on Monday when a filing with the Federal Election Commission started to circulate on it. But it wasn’t him.
The announcement that Pence had filed to run for president came as a result of the filing, which was made on a US federal holiday. The website’s link was also shared widely on Twitter by various individuals. Including Sky News in Britain, several other reporters announced this news.
The filings were listed on the FEC website as rough filings that the commission has not yet had a chance to review. The one who gave the filing is still unknown.
An FEC representative declined to comment on individual filings but added that the Commission examines registration forms and reports that can be made up or misleading.
Since Trump lost to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, Pence has grown increasingly estranged from then-president Donald Trump. Pence angered the former president by refusing to support his attempt to nullify the results of the 2020 election.
Analysts predict that Pence will have a difficult time winning the presidency in 2024 if he decides to run for office.
