The most awaited Lori Vallow Daybell Murder trial will begin next week in Idaho. Lori was charged with the murder of her children, 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7- year-old Joshua “jj” Vallow, and planning to murder her husband’s ex-wife, Tammy Daybell.

Background Behind The Murder
The accusation against Lori Vallow Daybell is that she killed her children and planned to kill Tammy Daybell, Chad Daybell’s ex-wife. Lori married Chad Daybell just a few days before Tammy passed away.
Although Chad Daybell is facing a separate trial, he is also accused of the killings. They were initially supposed to stand a joint trial in 2021, but because of Vallow’s competency tests and extraordinary gathering of evidence, the joint trial was put off.
Both cases were ruled separately because Lori had refused to renounce her right to a quick trial.
According to the prosecution, the couple planned the murder to steal money from the Social Security and insurance of the victims. Extreme religious beliefs are a significant fact that fuelled the couple to murder their children.
In May 2021, the Fremont County grand jury first charged Vallow and Daybell on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Tylee and J.J. The two kids went missing in September of 2019.
Police claim that the couple lied to them about the children’s location while they were gone for months until the bodies of the kids were discovered in 2020 buried on Daybell’s property in rural Idaho. Lori and Chad allegedly received Social Security benefits.
According to reports, the couple was charged in late May 2021 with multiple counts of first-degree murder connected with the deaths of two children and Tammy, first-degree murder conspiracy, and grand theft by deception. Authorities in Arizona charged Vallow in June 2021 with murdering her ex-husband Charles Vallow in July 2019.
Lori and Chad were extreme religious believers, and he has penned several dystopian books that are largely based on Mormon doctrine. They met in a podcast in 2018 related to their religious customs.
