Recent developments in the case of the Idaho University murders have left people more confused about the nature of the crime.
A recent revelation in the case made it clear that Bryan Kohberger, the person who was arrested for the crime and also the prime suspect had been to the scene of the crime hours after the gruesome act was committed.
Just like his visit after the crime had been committed, it was also revealed that he had been to the location almost twelve times before the murder took place.
The details about the location of the suspect were determined by tracking the activity of his mobile phone. The phone was identified by Koby as his own in August during the investigation and later the police confirmed the ownership of the 8458 number.
As per the latest report, the 8458 phones were identified as leaving the location of Koby’s house and were also identified to be utilizing the cellular resources that covered the route to Moscow, Idaho which points to the commute he made.
The signal was also identified under the coverage of the King Road residence. According to Brett Payne, an officer with the Moscow police, Kohberger is the user of the 8458 phones and is also the driver of the white Elantra, which is the suspect vehicle 1.
The arrest regarding the murder which brought out Bryan Kohberger as the killer took place on December 30, 2022. Kohberger, who is a Ph.D. student in criminology at Washington State University, has now been accused of the murder of four students of the University of Idaho.
The murder of Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Champion took place on November 13, 2022.
Even though Bryan was arrested for the crime, he denied the charges and claimed that he had been exonerated.
But the revelation about the details of his phone locations will make it difficult for Bryan to prove that he has no connections with the murder as he was found to be around the crime scene and surroundings months before the incident and also after the act has been committed.
The arrest of Bryan came as very shocking news to many as he was completely unknown and no one could find a link that connected the victims and Bryan. He was arrested from his parent’s house in Pennsylvania on December 30.
There was a video which was released by the police where Bryan and his father were pulled out from their vehicle. It can be clearly seen that the vehicle is a white Hyundai Elantra, the same model that was on the suspect list of the police.
It was the car that brought up the name of the suspect during the investigation. A white Elantra was spotted in the security footage of the victim’s neighborhood on the day of the murder and it was during the lookout for the same model car that the authorities came to know about Bryan.
The major evidence that linked Bryn to the murder and eventually led to his arrest was the finding of his DNA from the crime scene. The four students are reported to be stabbed in their sleep as per the available information.
The case was investigated by the collaboration of different agencies like the local police department and also the FBI but nothing much is known about the case as of now.
Even though there are shreds of evidence that link Bryan Kohberger to the murder, one of the major unanswered questions is the motive that he had in committing the crime. As of now, the police have not identified any clear reason for the crime.
Also, even though there had been reports that the DNA of the accused had been identified from the crime scene, authorities have not stated anything largely about the source of the DNA, or from where they found it.

Bryan Kohberger is said to have caused a major stir when he came up with the question of arresting anyone other than him for the crime. It seems that the police have discarded the theory of multiple murders and are currently focusing their attention on the arrested man.
Currently, Bryan is held at the Latah County jail. He was brought into Idaho from Pennsylvania on January 4 even though he was arrested on December 30. Bryan was brought on a flight and was handed over to the authorities in Idaho.
He is currently a student at the University of Washington and specializes in criminology. Bryan has not admitted to the crimes and says he is being exonerated.
As for the part of Bryan’s family, they have expressed their condolences for the life of the four students and they have said that they will take time so that the legal processes can unfold.
They also added that they will cooperate with the law enforcement agencies completely so that the truth and eventually Bryans’s innocence could be proven.
Even though an arrest has been made, there are still many missing links in the case that are yet to be explained or made public by the authorities. Stay connected for the latest updates about the case.
