A prophet from Uganda has issued a warning to some of the country’s most famous people.
According to Father Deo Kiibi Kateregga, who presided over the memorial service for Singer Mowzey Radio at Rubaga Cathedral, God has provided celebrities, and musicians in particular, with gifts; nevertheless, they are obligated to put those gifts to use for the greater good rather than for evil.
The celebrants in attendance were in fits of laughs during the entire sermon given by the priest, who made oblique references to a number of topics, the most significant of which was the fact that famous people do not put their gifts to use for the greater good or for God.
As he spoke to famous people about how their lives should be lived, the man of God utilized the service to win their hearts over.
“Remember that the ability you have was given to you by God.” Please do not act as if it were yours. The way in which you respond to the blessings that God has bestowed upon you is your way of expressing gratitude to him for his generosity. Which songs are you singing, and are they contributing to the development of the nation? Put your skills to use helping people, rather than trying to aggravate God. Find those mentors who can help you develop your skills and meet your demands.
Employ expert talent managers to handle the management of your talent. Put an end to spending money without a purpose. Donate your money to the church if you are unable to put it to good use. If you run into an issue tomorrow like Radio did, where do you plan on getting the money to fix it? “Nothing is certain in life; all you can do is be careful,” he said.
Take care of yourself, for life is precious. You need to be very careful with your money because even if you may have some money now, there is a possibility that you will not have any money tomorrow. Celebrities are wasteful with their money and consume all of the alcohol they can get their hands on. They invest financial resources in women. Why do you behave in this manner? You do not attend religious services in churches or mosques. What kind of things do you fill your time with?
You drink costly alcohol despite the fact that you have no money. Now is the time for you to make some changes and put your talents to good use. If you put God first in your life, you will never find yourself in last place. Only God is capable of assisting each and every one of us. Face him and make effective use of the gifts you were given. Fr. Kateregga continued, “I am a priest in the church, and those who are furious with me, please forgive me but the truth has to be stated.”
The body of Radio was brought to the Kololo Independence grounds so that everyone might observe it. On Saturday, March 3rd, he will be laid to rest in the family home in Kagga village, which is located along Entebbe road. The death of Mowzey Radio occurred on February 1, 2018, after he was involved in a fight at a pub in Entebbe known as De Bar.
