Singer, and Songwriter Ben Kweller’s oldest son, Dorian Zev, was killed in a car accident on Monday, and the death was announced by the singer’s wife Liz on Tuesday.
Dorian Zev Kweller was a 16-year-old aspiring musician who released multiple songs under the name Zev. He was in a nascent stage, having released only a few songs, but unfortunately, death called him as the momager confirmed on Tuesday.
Damian was driving home when he swerved a fast-running truck in his lane. Supposedly, he was killed right on the spot after a tree limb invaded through the windshield, Liz explained.
“There happens to be no way that I can be writing this but I am,” Ben captioned under a sweet photo of her son, which she posted on her official Instagram handle.
He further asserted the astounding news and said, “Dorian Zev was killed,” and he went on to elaborate on his potential as a musician. According to Ben, Zev was a “legend, a gentle and kindest soul.”
He is quite adamant about not leaving behind his memories as far as he lives on this earth. he also requested her followers to keep his “spirit alive with his memories and the music he made.”
Dorian wrote and recorded songs every now and then and as per his dad, he was a “poet from the day he began to speak.”
Although only a few were released, he was quite dedicated to his path and was “excited about his journey,” and was packed with many other plans as well. With his first gig coming in two weeks, he recalled that her last text was “about the merch” he wanted to make. Sadly, the boy was “at his startling line, with so much life ahead.”
Currently, the entire family is in great shock and nobody knows what “the future holds,” Ben concluded.
“Im numbed and don’t know what to do or what to say. I neither know if I will ever be okay again. We lost our son in a blink of an eye and now the family is in utmost need of prayers as we lack positive energy. We are apparently living in a nightmare and completely lost right now,” Liz wrote.
The young boy is survived by his loving parents and his brother, Judah.
