Fox News reporter Tucker Carlson’s Twitter account was hacked by Anonymous, a group with an unrevealed identity.
Twitteratis got suspicious when a major change was seen in the Twitter bio of Carlson.
On Tuesday night it read that he was a non-binary climate change activist of color, he was a visionary tech founder, a CNBC market analyst, and also an informal advisor to Zelensky, the current president of Ukraine. The bio also had two emojis denoting transgender pride.
A Twitter handle with the username AnonOpsSE tweeted by mentioning Tucker Carlson to say that he has been hacked. The handle also posted a cropped image of his account that showed his profile picture and his bio.
The name of the account was Anonymous Operations and it is said to be handled by a group of hacker activists; a combined term to refer to them is, hacktivists.
However, the photo tweeted could be seen as the group making the claim of the act of account hacking.
The users reacted in different ways to the news. Many of the users found the tweets hilarious.
A few of the podcasters concluded that Cralson himself was the one behind this. They arrived at such a conclusion because they thought if the account was hacked by an actual hacker, his account credentials would have changed, or some tweets would have been made to get his account suspended or the whole account would be scheduled for permanent deletion.
It was said that he had done that to himself so that he could have something to complain about on his Fox News talk show that he hosts.
One user who found this extremely funny burst out laughing conveyed by similar emojis, and commented that the bio was nice and she might date Carlson. A group of users opined that the action was highly needed and that he deserved this.
Although, netizens seemed to be divided on this controversy. The reason is that similar bio-changes have happened in the past, too. The bio-changes have gone viral so fast and people similarly thought that his account was hacked, but it later came to light that the bio was changed by himself.
Carlson changed the bio of his account multiple times as a semi-regular hankering to go viral on Twitter.
Reportedly, a Fox News employee said that the news of the account hack and the account hack claim was false and that whatever changes have happened to Carlosn’s account it all took place with his knowledge.
Tucker Carlson’s Twitter Bio Through Controversies
Here is a glimpse of the bios Carlson has added to his account in the recent past.
One time he changed his bio to read fully vaccinated and he added his pronouns as They/Theirs.
Another time he changed his pronouns to She/Her and added a flag of the nation of Ukraine. This time people were surprised to see him calling himself a climate change activist and Zelensky advisor
Usually, when an account gets hacked, the first step that the hacker would so will be to tweet offensive or vulgar tweets. However, in this case, such a thing did not happen or at least has not been reported yet.
Now, this is an overview of his account activity on the previous day, March 14, 2023. The latest tweet from the account was roughly three hours earlier, and it was about Douglass Mackey.

He had retweeted a photo from Fox News about his own show on the Russia-Ukraine war. Another tweet was about GOP Presidential candidates who did not respond on his show and he had tagged the handles of Nikki Haley, Mike Pompeo, Asa Hutchinson, Amb John Bolton, and Governor Chris Sununu.
This was preceded by a series of tweets that were about the comments and opinions of various political activists in the Ukraine crisis.
He had tweeted what Governor Christie, Senator Tim Scott, Governor George Abbott, Governor Kristin, GOP Presidential candidate Vivek G Ramaswamy, former vice president Mike Pence, governor Rin De Santis, and ex-president Donald Trump provided for his questionnaire on the Russia – Ukraine war.
Another rumor that spread around was that a hacker had changed Carlson’s bio and left the account for Carlson to use or might have lost control over the account after the bio changed. In such cases, the user might not come across the bio change until someone tells them so.
Similarly, Tucker Carlson might not have noticed his bio-change. As he might not have faced any trouble in accessing his account or tweeting, as usual, he might not have even thought about such a possibility.
Anyhow, by now he would have certainly come to know that the account bio has been changed; if not it was he who did that.
If that is the case, then a response from his part is highly expected by all. It is assumed that Tucker Carlson would be providing an explanation of the events when he comes live on the talk show.
