As previously reported by Lifestyle UG, 25-year-old Shanquella Robinson traveled to Cabo, Mexico with a group of friends at the end of October. Sadly, the woman from Charlotte, North Carolina never returned home.
Her parents, Bernard and Salamondra Robinson, told a local television station on Friday (November 11) that while Shanquella was on the vacation, they received a phone call from her daughter’s friends informing them that she had died of alcohol intoxication. Several days later, Salamondra discovered via an autopsy report that Shanquella’s “neck was broken and she had a back spasm.” The distraught mother revealed to the reporter that she believes her daughter was assaulted physically.
This week, an internet video of the Robinsons’ interview with the news station went viral. While social media users were discussing her situation, a distressing video from her vacation to Mexico was discovered. Yesterday (November 15), footage of Shanquella getting thrashed by one of her pals while naked was released online.
In the footage, a lady can be seen beating up a naked Shanquella Robinson. The victim’s traveling companions remained in the room and recorded the vicious attack on their phones.
A companion can be heard cheering on the attacker at one point in the video, while another man remarks, “At the very least, fight back”.
Social media users identified many individuals suspected to be in Mexico with the North Carolina woman within hours.
Since the video went viral, the names and photos of Shanquella Robinson’s friends who accompanied the 25-year-old victim have appeared online. The immcoscence of Daejhanae Jackson, Wenter Donovan, Alysse Hyatt, Nazeer Wiggins, and Khalil has been contested by numerous people.
According to netizens, Daejhanae Jackson is the alleged attacker in the leaked video which is why Jackson’s photograph is also doing the rounds on the internet. It is important to highlight, however, that the authorities have not validated netizens’ supposition that the perpetrator was Jackson.
Daejhanae Jackson’s LinkedIn page has since gone viral. And because the names of Robinson’s buddies were discovered on the internet, the six allegedly deleted their social media profiles. Although there isn’t much information about Jackson online, netizens shared an image of her LinkedIn page on Twitter.
Daejhanae Jackson is an “aspiring healthcare practitioner,” according to her LinkedIn page, and she attended Winston-Salem State University. According to her profile, she also worked at Blue Rhino in Greensboro, North Carolina. They are a “propane tank swap brand,” according to the company’s official website.
Given the amount of abuse and attention Jackson has received online, it is unclear whether she is still employed by the group.
Netizens have now started to demand that Robinson’s buddies be imprisoned. Most people believe the statements about what caused Robinson’s death were hazy. They believe the gang of friends is responsible for Shanquella Robinson’s death. This claim has been supported by video evidence of Jackson reportedly beating up Robinson before her death.
Robinson’s parents, Salamondra and Bernard, were told by Robinson’s friend Khalil that she died of alcohol poisoning after her death. However, once the victim’s family notified the FBI about their daughter’s unusual death, detectives discovered that Robinson did not die as a result of the same cause.
Salamondra revealed in an interview that the FBI discovered her daughter had a “broken neck and her spine in the back was cracked.”
Quilla Long, Shanquella’s sister, also expressed reservations about the group of pals. In an interview, Long stated:
“Now that that things has happened, I can go back and say, “That’s why he was pacing,” I mean, you’d think he was high on something. He was terrified, sweating, and gripping his beard… It had to be eating him up at that point.”
Shanquella Robinson’s death is still being investigated.
In addition, another one of Shanquella Robinson’s Friends, a male participant, posted a video explaining that he was ignorant of the altercation.
“I departed Saturday. “The journey lasted from Friday to Monday,” he stated in the minute-long footage. The anonymous man stated he was not present during the altercation because he joined the group a day after his pals. “I know nothing about it. I know absolutely nothing about it. “Don’t know why it occurred,” he said on the recording.
The man claiming to be Shanquella’s friend stated that he made the video to clear his identity since others who accompanied the victim on the Mexico vacation had received death threats since the fight tape was posted.
Some users shared the names, addresses, and phone numbers of individuals suspected to have traveled with Shanquella. Daejane Jackson is supposedly the lady shown in the video fighting the 25-year-old.
The U.S. Department of State is conducting an investigation and has released the following statement: “We are aware of these concerns. Protecting the safety of American people abroad is one of our top concerns. We have no additional comment at this time out of respect for the privacy of people affected.”
