The former Disney star, Orlando Brown, was taken into custody Thursday morning by the police in Lima, Ohio. Brown’s arrest was on the allegation of Domestic Violence.
Orlando Brown was an American singer, entertainer, and rapper, mostly known for his role in “That’s So Raven” as Eddie Thomas on Disney TV.
The former Disney star was detained on a domestic violence criminal charge Thursday after allegedly threatening a relative with a hammer and knife.
As per the arrest report written by police in Lima for Brown, a relative of Brown told the police that Brown had come at him in a threatening manner with a knife and hammer and was shocked by this behavior of Brown. A relative of Orlando’s reported to the police that he thought Orlando might attack him.
According to certain media reports, Brown was given shelter at the relative’s home for about two weeks. The relative claimed that he didn’t want Brown to be a homeless man since Brown was mentally lost.
According to reports, the relative who was said to be the one who complained against Brown is his brother Mathew. It was said that Brown came at him with a knife and hammer and tried to rape his wife.
The police said that the victim had told the police that Brown is becoming “crazy” day by day.
Orlando Brown has faced so many difficulties and issues in his career. It is not the first time he is getting arrested by the police. He has been arrested by police in the past too.
The former child artist in the Disney TV series had gone through various difficulties such as drug addiction, homelessness, and mental health struggles.
In 2014, he allegedly threatened to kill a woman and her daughter, and then the woman reported to the police.
He was detained in 2016 after a fight with a girlfriend and was later charged with drug use and domestic assault.
He was taken into police custody three times in 2018, once in Las Vegas on an outstanding warrant, once for felony drug addiction, and once more for breaking into his friend’s restaurant.
At the tail end of 2018, Orlando made an appearance on the Dr. Phil program and discussed his battle with drug and alcohol addiction, including his use of crystal meth.
He appeared puzzled during the conversation and even claimed to be Michael Jackson’s son at one point. He also said he was Will Smith’s child.
After the show, Dr. Phil stated that he was having neurological issues which led him into such mental states.
