M-Pesa is a mobile banking service that was established by one of the biggest mobile phone operators in Kenya, Safaricom. It was launched in 2007. The users of the M-Pesa platform can use it for services such as sending and receiving money and storing money through their mobile phones. Points to be remembered

The maximum value that can be transacted in a day is kshs. 300,000.

Maximum amount that can be sent or received in each transaction is kshs. 150,000

The balance of an account should not exceed kshs. 300,000.

To initiate a person-to-person self-reversal in M-Pesa, send a transaction confirmation to 456.
