Moreover, he was the son of the real estate developer Fred Trump. Fred was also the father of Donald Trump, who served as the 45th president of the United States of America.
Mary attended the Ethel Walker School in Connecticut and completed her schooling in 1983. Mary then joined Tufts University where she took up English Literature. She earned her master’s degree in the same from Columbia University. She also holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
Mary Trump’s father Fred Trump Jr passed away due to alcoholism when Mary was just 16 years old.

The official release of the first book written by Mary Trump took place on July 14, 2020. The book was titled ‘Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.’
The book was published by Simo and Schuster and is regarded as an unauthorized biography of Donald Trump. The lawsuit between Mary Trump and some of her relatives regarding the inheritance of the family wealth had been going on long before the book was published.
The sales of the book were very high and it is estimated to have sold nearly a million copies on the first day of the sale. In the book, Mary Trump mentioned that all the details and events that she describes in the book come from her personal knowledge and experience and also from the details she gathered through conversations with different family members and friends.
The book also describes in detail how Mary Trump provided The New York Times with the tax return files of the family. Those documents became the basis of the article in the New York Times, which won the Pulitzer prize in 2019.

Mary Trump was later sued by Donald for leaking the financial documents of the family to outside parties. The allegations were targeted mainly at the Republicans.
Mary Trump also has a podcast with the title ‘The Mary Trump Show,’ in which she brings in topics like politics and other matters of national concern for discussion.
Mary Trump is also a successful psychologist. She used to practice at the Manhattan Psychiatric Center for about one year. It was while Mary was working on her Ph.D.

Mary Trump is openly gay and she is very private about her personal life and her relationships. In her book, it was mentioned that she was married to a woman earlier and also that they had a daughter named Avary together.
