An elementary school teacher was arrested on Thursday in the San Fernando Valley on allegations that he sexually abused a kid.
The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for any further victims to come forward in order to go forward with the investigation.
An Elementary School Teacher In Los Angeles Was Arrested On Suspicion Of Molesting A Student!
According to a news release issued by the Los Angeles Police Department on Tuesday, 57-year-old Giancarlo Corsi, an elementary school teacher at Harding Street Elementary School, was accused of inappropriately touching a youngster from an adjacent class many times throughout the 2004-2005 school year.
According to the police, Corsi worked as a teacher in the San Fernando Valley from 1992 until 2006, after which he took an absence from the profession that lasted 11 years before coming back to it in 2017. Corsi is accused of engaging in a sexual act with a student while they were both present in a school setting.

This is the second such case from San Fernando Valley in recent times. Earlier this year, a teacher from the Ivy Bound Academy School in Sherman Oaks was taken into custody on suspicion of sexually abusing a student while she was employed there. The Los Angeles Police Department had appealed to a further group of individuals who may have been victims to come forward.
According to Ricardo Santiago of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Samantha A. Arizabal, 24, was arrested on Friday, March 17th, and pleaded not guilty to four counts of lewd act on a child under 14 and one count of distributing or showing pornography to a minor. The charges against Samantha A. Arizabal was filed after she was arrested.
Ivy Bound Academy School is a middle school charter that is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The authorities have not stated whether or not the claimed victim of Arizabal attended this school.
Samantha Arizabal was taken into custody by LAPD Detectives after the department received an allegation of ongoing inappropriate sexual conduct allegedly committed by her while she was employed at Ivy Bound Academy School. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, she began working at the institution in the year 2020.
In the present case, Corsi is being held in lieu of a bond amount of $2 million due to the fact that he is suspected of engaging in sexual conduct with a minor.
