People pay to see performers perform their most successful songs on a daily basis in every region of the world.
But the conclusion of the exhibition rarely yields remarkable experiences once in a great while, and the 19th edition of the Tusker Malt-sponsored Blankets and Wine may be recognized as one of those, which left everlasting imprints on anyone who turned up at the event.
People began arriving in fashionable getups as early as 2:00 p.m., demonstrating that fashion was an important component of the Blankets and Wine event, which had African costume as its theme.
The remarkable vocal skills of Rwandan artist The Ben, who is well known for his big hit “Binkolera,” which was a collaboration with Sheebah, had the ladies in a state of wonder.
As was to be anticipated, the most promising new musical talent on the scene, Fik Fameica, put on a lively live band performance of some of his most popular songs, such as “Kutama,” “My property,” and “Byenyenya,” amongst others. Fik Fameica turned the tables.
When the well-known DJ and producer Heavy K began to play a mix of dance music and afro-pop for the audience, the throng in the oval, which was already filled with a lively mood, would take it to the next level. He did not let anyone down and lived up to the lofty expectations placed on him.
The audience continued to enjoy the show right up until the very end, even with the moonlight and colorful lights becoming increasingly charming as the night progressed.
