Actor Chadwick Boseman died from colon cancer when he was 43 years old. People close to him made the announcement  via Twitter on Friday evening. Favourite Farewell has since become the most coveted post in the site’s history.

Now, people remember the man who resurrected iconic characters like Jackie Robinson, James Brown, Marshall Thurgood and Black Panther’s King T’Challa.

The diagnosis of stage-3 colon cancer in Actor Boseman took place in 2016. By the time he died, cancer had grown to stage-4. But despite his deteriorating health, Boseman continued to star in several film projects during his final year.

The post announcing his passing reads: “A true warrior, Chadwick diligently brought to you many of the images you loved the most. Marshall to Da5bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and many more were filmed during and in between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. ”

A trained martial artist, the famous athletic actor warned some fans this summer.

In the video, Boseman discusses Operation 42, an organization that often serves hospitals that serve black communities. But Boseman’s health was shocking, a dramatic departure from his muscular frame in films such as Black Panther and the Avengers: Endgame. The video was the first public indication that his health was deteriorating.

However, in his final months, Boseman lived life to the fullest. He made great strides in his career, in his career, and in his personal life, marrying his longtime girlfriend Taylor Simon Ledward a few months before he died.

Ryan Coogler, who directed Black Panther , wrote an emotional tribute to Chadwick Boseman following his death. Coogler describes the amazing energy that Boseman brought to each moment of production. 

Even in auditions for supporting roles, Boseman will play competently, albeit with his future costumes, revealing unpredictability.

The filmmaker also talked about Boseman’s ability to turn credible relationships with ancestors into Black Panthers. Although such scenes were filmed in front of blue screens and enhanced by computer graphics, Coogler said, “Chad’s performance made it feel real.”

“From the time I met him, I think it was because the ancestors spoke through him,” Coogler writes. “It is no secret to me now how he was able to portray some of our most remarkable people. I have no doubt that he will live and bless us.”

“With a heavy heart and deep gratitude for his presence,” Coogler concludes, “I must reckon with the fact that Chad is now an ancestor.”

ABC Memorial Special

ABC aired Sunday evening  “Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute for a King”. The event was followed by a commercial broadcast of Black Panther. In commemoration of the dead actor, countless employees and fans spoke at the virtual event. 

Actress Phylicia Rashad recalls how she first guided Boseman at Howard University. Following his acceptance of the British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer program, fellow icon Denzil Washington allowed Boseman to attend school.

Other stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe also commented. Robert Downey, Jr., said Boseman gave life to the most influential character in the entire MCU. After all, Boseman was the first black actor to star in one of the owner’s films.

“Black Panther drops the crowned record of the Marvel Universe,” Downey said. “People voted with their ticket sales and said,‘ We need this late diversity! This is what he said.

Captain America star Chris Evans said of Boseman, “His art had that power to define a generation, he was the actor that defined that generation.”
