Controversial social media figure Andrew Tate is in news again as he was detained in Romania. He was detained for a period of 24 hours in Romania in relation to the allegations of rape, human trafficking, and forming an organized crime unit related to his webcam studio.
His brother Tristan Tate was also detained along with him. The detaining period was dated December 29, 2022. His residential property in the capital city of Bucharest was raided by the authorities.
Andrew Tate was trending on social media platforms especially on Twitter regarding the online critical exchanges that he and environmentalist Greta Thunberg shared.
On Twitter, he issued a post in which he said he has 33 cars and he went on to list the specifications of Bugatti and Ferrari, his cars. He was demanding Greta to provide him with her comments about the emission of carbon dioxide that is being caused by his cars.
He continued in the tweet that the first thread was only the start and asked her to provide her email address so that he can send a complete list of his car collections and their respective enormous carbon emissions.
Following the events, Greta made a public reply to him on Wednesday, 28 th December 2022.
Her reply is considered a savage one by many of the followers and speculators.
Thunberg in her tweet replied that she was pleased by his car list and said to please enlighten her and to email her and provided an email id that went on with the username that was mentioned as smalld***energy@getalife.com. She had meant that in an ironical way employing sarcasm.
The Twitter exchanges between the two were closely speculated by many and many others considered it a source of entertainment. The tweet of Great Thunberg received more than 1,000 likes in the first hours of her posting it publicly on the platform.
Many users promoted Thunberg’s tweet as Twitter at its best. People are considering that the social media platform Twitter is becoming more interesting at the end of the year of all the times and incidents that happened in the year.

Emory Andrew Tate III was born in Washington, D.C., U.S. He is 36 years old. His father, Emory Tate was an African American and renowned chess personality.
Emory Tate was a former Air Force sergeant and an International Chess Master with more than one norm accredited to his name and a participant in multiple World Open, an annual open chess tournament. His mother worked as a catering assistant in England. He has a mixed ethnicity of African American English.
Tate was raised in Luton, England. Later he moved back to Romania in 2017 from the United Kingdom. He was raised as a Christian and on moving to Romania he joined the Romanian Orthodox Church.
After being an Orthodox Christian for a few years Andrew Tate converted to Islam. It was confirmed by him in 2022. His conversion was a topic of discussion following a video of him praying at a mosque that went viral.

Andrew Tate began practicing kickboxing and other martial arts in the year 2005. Meanwhile, he also worked in the TV advertising industry to support himself.
He was ranked the 7th best light-heavyweight kickboxer in Britain by the International Sport Kickboxing Association (ISKA) in November 2008,
Later in 2009, he won his first championship after becoming the winner of the British ISKA Full Contact Cruiserweight Championship in Derby. Following that he
was ranked number one in his division in Europe.
Tate won his first ISKA world title in a rematch against Jean-Luc Benoit via knockout, having previously lost to Benoit by decision in November 2008.

Later in 2012, Tate lost a championship in the Enfusion championship tournament to Franci Grajš.
Prior to this loss, he was ranked the second-best light-heavyweight kickboxer in the world.
Tate won his second ISKA world title in 2013, in a 12-round match against Vincent Petitjean. This made him the world champion in two different weight divisions. Post that he retired from combat sports.
