The official start of the shopping season this year is on November 25. Most of the online stores and even some supermarkets have gone a bit further and started the sales a bit earlier than the day. As almost all deals seem appealing, it should be remembered that a deal is not a deal if the product is of no use to you.

The main factors which determine the price range and the offer made available for the products depend upon their brand value and also their capacity. There are some local online shops that offer deals that go as high as 44 percent.

In places like Carrefour Supermarkets, they are extending the validity of their deals as long as the first week of December and the appliances have already started going on sale.

◾ Electronic Devices

This category includes devices like Televisions, phones, kettles, and other devices. They are also a category that has a huge demand during the shopping season as their standard rates can be quite high. There are deals that offer a discount of up to 50% for items like these.

◾ Furniture

Many shops that sell furniture, both online and offline, offer huge deals to their customers during this time.

The stores like Danube Homes are known to sell their Netherlands stocks which include furniture and home decor at a flat 40 percent off and their Italian furniture stock will be sold at a flat 50 percent discount.

Different other online shops offer discounts ranging from 9 percent to 50 percent for different types of furniture like seats, TV stands, wardrobes, and so on.

◾ Discounts On Credit And Debit Cards

With the shopping season coming up, the DFCU has established a partnership with the online shop Jumia to introduce a few deals that could turn out to be beneficial for both debit and credit card holders.

The DFCU’s Head of Marketing, Jude Kanaiime made said that COVID-19 had seriously altered the shopping habits of people, which resulted in a major hike in the number of online shoppers. She added that the bank wanted to gift their Visa Card holders an opportunity to enjoy the Black Friday discount for the entire month of November.

According to her words, the shopping festival comes at the end of the year and it also provides customers a chance to stock up for the holiday season. She said that the bank was happy that they have made it possible for their customers to enjoy the reduced and convenient prices.

◾ Have An Understanding Of The Price

Just because a price pops up in front of you claiming that it’s a sale doesn’t mean that you should buy the product right away. It is always advisable to check the price of any product before buying, With technologies like Google, it is much easier to find out the cost of a particular item across different shopping platforms and also its current market value.

◾ Have a Clear Idea

Before going into a shopping frenzy, it is always better to have a clear idea of what to buy. Just because something is on sale doesn’t mean that you should buy it right away. As most people are on a tight budget this time of the year, it is better to plan the shopping according to your financial capacity.

Just because you were not able to get your hands on a product that you liked so much but didn’t need, chances are high that the product will pop up on other sales any time in the future.
