DeSantis is to host an event on Twitter Spaces, the exclusive platform of Twitter for audio chats, along with Elon Musk. The time of the event, known as of now, is 6 p.m. ET. Other than these two, David Sacks will also be present at the event as its moderator. He is a close friend of Musk and a supporter of DeSantis.

After the wind-up of this event, DeSantis will release the launch video of his campaign. Soon after that, post-Memorial Day, he will start to visit many of the early states.

Tech billionaire Musk has already expressed his support for DeSantis running in the presidential election.

The event on Twitter Spaces will present DeSantis in live mode and it is supposed to be treated as his first impression in the presidential run.

The netizens are looking forward to the live event of the Governor and the Twitter CEO. There is an assumption on air that the wide popularity of Musk can be a positive factor for DeSantis, at the same time if Musk makes any controversial comments it can be a burden for the Governor.

Musk had made it clear that he was not completely supporting DeSantis but was rather hearing out what he has to say. On Monday, Musk posted the video of another Republican presidential election candidate Tim Scott which causes widespread arguments over the online media platforms regarding who Musk was

Ron DeSantis is the 46th Governor of Florida who assumed office in January 2019.

Before that, he was a part of the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida’s 6th district and served in the position from 2013 to 2018. He ran for this position against six other candidates and defeated all of them in the election.

In 2015 he announced that he will be participating in the 2016 United States Senate election in Florida. He was in the running for the seat that was held for Marco Rubio, who is presently the senior US Senator from Florida.

At that time, Rubio had entered the presidential election campaign. When Rubio ended his 2016 presidential election bid, DeSantis withdrew himself from the Senate election and re-entered the House election.

He started his career in the U.S. Navy. At that time he was attending the Harvard School of Law. Upon joining the navy force he completed his education at the Naval Justice School. In 2019, he retired from the Navy at the rank of lieutenant commander.

The role of running for the role of President comes with multiple challenges for DeSantis. The number one challenge will be running in opposition to Donald Trump, the former American president who is running for the position a second time in the upcoming election.
