The momentous announcement was made in front of a panel that included various voice actors from both the film and the television series.
These included Junya Enoki and Megumi Ogata, who play the roles of Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu, respectively, in the series and the film, respectively. The events of the novel take place in a world in which everything that is alive emits a substance known as Cursed Energy. When humans emit this Energy, it gives rise to Curses, who are entities whose sole objective is to cause harm to humanity. A potent Curse known as Ryomen Sukuna has taken possession of Yuji Itadori, a young man who attends high school in Japan. Itadori becomes a member of a shadowy organization known as the Jujutsu Sorcerers.
These are people who have mastered the art of controlling their own Cursed Energy, which ultimately materializes into skills that are exclusive to them. He is looking for a way, with their assistance, to put an end to the potent Curse that resides within him.
The anime television series has its debut in October of 2020, and Sunghoo Park is the director of the project. The first season of the anime received a lot of positive feedback from critics, which helped it earn the title of Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2021.
The debut of Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season is slated to take place some time in 2023. On March 18, the precursor film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be made available to watch in theaters across North America.
