Neal Mohan is an Indian-American business executive who succeeded Susan Wojcicki as CEO of Youtube on February 16, 2023.
Neal Mohan previously held the positions of Senior Vice President at Google and Chief Product Officer at Youtube, a platform for sharing videos online and a division of Alphabet Inc.
He held the position of Senior Vice President of Display and Video ADs at Google from March 2008 to November 2015. He formerly served as the senior vice president of strategy and product development at DoubleClick, a provider of online ad services that Google bought in 2007.

Mohan graduated from Stanford University’s Graduate of Business as an Arjay Miller Scholar with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration.

After graduating from Stanford University, he worked for Accenture owned by Arthur Andresen. He joined the fledgling Net Gravity company in 1997, playing a significant role in its management and substantially raising its profile.
Net Gravity was purchased by DoubleClick in 1997. In the early 2000s, he relocated from California to the corporate headquarters in New York and gradually increased his involvement in the company’s central affairs.
Before returning to Stanford in 2003 to finish his MBA, he was made the vice president of business operations.
Due to its acquisition of Abacus Direct in 1999, DoubleClick started to have significant problems in the following years. After all these issues faced by the company, Google agreed to take over DoubleClick for $3.1 billion in 2007.
