Mike Novogratz, the American investment banker now wants 2023 to end with Bitcoin at $30K.
Earlier in January 2021 he said that he expects Bitcoin to reach $500K in 2024. He, who said he would get a tattoo inked on the occasion of the bitcoin reaching $500K, now says he would be the happiest guy if it ends at $30k in 2023.
In 2022 bitcoin had lost around 65 percent of its value and ended the year near at 16,500 US Dollars. Novogratz reportedly said that the outlook for crypto was not horrible, but it was also not great.
Novogratz thinks 2023 would be an ideal time for the cryptocurrency industry to cut costs and to survive the transition period that was on the run after the fall down of FTX. He views a rebuilding narrative as a high need of the time.

Before starting a professional career he was a helicopter pilot in the New Jersey National Guard.
58-year-old Mike Novogratz started his career in 1989 at Goldman Sachs. His first role was that of a salesman and he was on a short-term bond. His position was elevated and he remained at Goldman Sachs for another decade as its partner.
From 2002 to 2015 he was the CIO, of the Macro Fund of the Fortress Investment Group. He became an investor in Galaxy Digital in 20174 and is still in the position after 6 years.
