Lojay was born as the first child of Mr. and Mrs. Lekan Osifeso on April 28, 1996. His family resided in one of the southwest Nigerian states and belonged to the Yoruba Tribe.

In 2019, and 2020, he released the singles Ariel and Ogogoro. Between his entrance into the music business in 2016 and the arrival of his breakthrough songs in 2021, he released several tracks, including Along, Kuli Kuli, and Across the Bar, among others.
His second EP, LV N ATNN (stylized from Love and Attention), which he co-produced with producer Sarz, was released in May 2021. His breakthrough songs, Toongo and Monalisa, which he released with Chris Brown, were included on the five-track EP.
In addition, he included Wwizkid in the song LV N ATTN, which has the same name as the EP.
Panty! And Park O X3 are the names of the remaining two songs. The Next Rated Artist Category of The Headies award nominated Lojay in 2022.
DJ Neptune featured Lojay and Zlatan Ibile in the song Only Fan in November 2021. He participated in the Heineken UEFA Champions League Trophy in Nigeria in 2022.
He released his most anticipated EP, Gangster Romantic, on March 3, 2023. A single track from this EP, Moto, was previously released in late February 2023. This newest EP of the Nigerian singer belongs to the genre of afrobeat.
