Chozen Blood Bio
Chozen Blood is the 12th and second-to-last child to be born into a family of 13. He claims that he obtained his stage name from his days as a member of his local church, when the pastor used to nickname him “Chosen” due to the fact that he was selected for so many different chances.
Chozen Blood began singing when they were in elementary school and have received a number of music-related scholarships as a result of their singing. Because he was so talented at singing and playing the drums, other schools competed with one another to have him join their own music and theater groups.
On the other hand, he did not begin his career in music until 2008, when he was in the fourth year of his schooling. His debut song, which was recorded at Fenon Records and was titled “A Child Unheard” since he sang in church, was supported financially by a religious organization.
After Chozen Blood had finished recording with Sheebah, Jeff Kiwa approached him and asked him to become a member of his team because he was unmanaged at the time. He gave his assent and became a member of Team No Sleep, working with Kabako, Topki Kasente, and Sheebah. Together with Desire Luzinda, he recorded more songs such as “Awunza” and “Damn.”
Chozen Blood left the label despite having a successful run there, stating that the management was more concerned with delivering on the promises made to Sheebah than they were with delivering on the promises made to him. After that, he relocated to Ziza Bafana’s old manager Arafat, where he worked alongside the self-proclaimed world’s smallest rapper, Feffe Bussi, although he eventually left the job.
Chozen Blood was shown to the public for the first time as Lubega Roger, a well-known talent manager, and Source Management Record Label’s newest signing in February.
It was during his vacation at Fort Six that he collaborated with his cousin Walden on the song “Pressure Ya Love,” which went on to become extremely popular and dominate the airways. This was the start of his lightning-fast rise to fame. In a previous interview, he stated that the song was an experiment for them, but they were pleasantly pleased when it brought them fame. After that, they went into the studio and recorded “Nalonda Gwe,” another song that became a huge hit.
However, the pair eventually went their own ways since Walden’s radio work was keeping her so busy. Chosen Blood took a vacation from music after the group they were a part of disbanded, and they eventually went to another country to complete their education. Later on, he regained his footing with a successful single that he dubbed “Wadawa,” and he later featured Sheebah on the track’s remix.
The song ‘Yitayo Ondabeko’ by Chozen Blood with Winnie Nwagi was up for a Zzina Award in 2020, however it was ultimately defeated by ‘Gutujja’ by Rema Namakula featuring B2C.
Fans have been speculating that fellow singer Winnie Nwagi is in a romantic relationship with Chozen Blood, but the two artists have both dismissed the rumors. Both of the musicians have made it publicly known that they are not in relationships.
