Shaunie Henderson is having a second wedding and here is how Shaquille O’Neal got himself invited to the wedding.
After six months of the dreamy wedding, the married couple Shaunie Henderson and her husband Pastor Keion Henderson are documenting their story. It would be released with the title “Shaunie & Keion’s Destination “I Do” on VH1 as the new show.
The audience is yet to find out the people invited to the wedding.
Shaunie revealed how her ex-husband, Shaquille O’Neal, popularly known as “Shaq” scored his invitation. According to her, she doesn’t consider him to be coming to the wedding but he did get the courtesy invite. Both of them were at the 16th birthday party of their daughter and he hinted about the wedding. She says that he was wondering whether he was invited or not and she responded that he would be. But she was further pondering on the actual necessity of his presence at her wedding.
Shaunie and Shaq got divorced in 2011 after a marriage that lasted 11 years. They are in a friendly term and are co-parenting the five of their children, Me’arah, 16; Shaqir, 19; Amirah, 21; Shareef, 22; and Myles, 25.
Shaunie views that she and her husband share mutual respect. And that post-divorce, they have been involved together multiple times on occasions relating to their children.
Keion Henderson, Shaunie’s current husband hasn’t met Shaq in person yet and he states that there is no hard feeling involved, it’s due to their time schedules. Shaq drops in at the couple’s house to pick up the children. Keion reportedly said that their paths had led to each other but they haven’t crossed and also that he is looking forward to meeting him.
Among other people who were invited to the wedding come the names of Jackie Christie and Evelyn Lozada. They are the co-stars of Shaunie in her show, “Basketball Wives.” Shaunie acknowledges her girlfriends to be her sisters and she thinks that the audience would also be happy to see them. Their presence in the show is estimated to receive love from the people.
The upcoming release would be a special tagged one with three parts and fans around are waiting to watch the new life embarked on together by Keion and Shaunie. Shaunie’s new role as the First Lady of the Pastor’s Lighthouse Church in Houston, Texas is guaranteed to have a high number of audience.
The couple is planning to portray a real love saga rather than a reality TV show. It is assumed that there would not be scripted drama or arguments that arouse emotional tension.
She admits that Keion, her husband, makes her want to be a better person. She said that she watches her husband moving around, making decisions, and the way he loves and treats people.

While Keion Henderson, the Pastor, admits that his wife had brought the best laughter of his life. He said that with her he is seeing the good, humor, and positivity in everything. He added she aids him in finding both the light and laughter in his life.
Keion Henderson is the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of The Lighthouse Church and Ministries. It is an independent evangelical church following the Bible and Christ.
Shaunie Henderson is known for her television reality show “Basketball Wives”. It showcases the lives of wives, partners, girlfriends, and ex-wives of professional-level basketball players. She hosts another series, “Basketball Wives LA” portraying the same but centered in Los Angeles. She is also popular for another one titled “Shaunie’s Home Court” which depicts the lives of her offspring and family. She is an executive producer for the “Basketball Wives.”
Shaunie parted ways with her ex-husband because she could not accept his choice of being intimate with other women.
Shaq, earlier in his memoir “Shaq Uncut: My Story”, had taken mere accountability for the failure of his marriage with Shaunie. He admits there were happy times that he shared with his ex-wife. He wrote that even though he chose to be with other women, he never intended to disrespect his ex-wife and he thinks he should not have done that.
