1. California
The people of California can expect a direct payment program in February.

The direct payment program is a part of the Middle-Class Tax Refund Program. It would be paid in a one-time payment mode.

The range of the direct payment program would be an amount between, the lowest amount starting from 200 US Dollars and going as high as 1,050 US Dollars.
Who Is Eligible?
The Californians who have filed their tax return for the year 2020 and updated their bank credentials after the filing has already received a debit card between the dates of 17th of 2022 December, and the 14th of 2023 January.
The Californians who have filed their tax return for the year 2020 and have updated their residential or communication address or both are supposed to receive a debit card between the dates of the 30th of January 2023, and the 14th of February 2023.

2. Idaho
The people of Idaho can expect a direct payment program in February.
What Is Idaho’s Direct Payment Program In February?
The program comes as part of a rebate that was approved by the government earlier in September 2022. The rebate was introduced to allocate a package to the citizens to lower the cut taxes and the budget surplus which was recorded as the highest data of the state. The amount would be received as a direct payment in the recipient’s bank account.
Who Is Eligible?
A citizen of Idaho who has already filed either for the individual income tax return of the state or Form 24 for the respective year is deemed eligible.
The mandatory requirements that have to be satisfied to receive the direct payment program are:
1. Residency Requirements:
- Should have been a full-time resident of the state of Idaho.
- Someone who has a permanent residence in Idaho and resided in it for more than 270 days in the year.
- Should have domiciled in Idaho for the whole of the tax year.
- Those who are not residents of the state are not eligible.
- Those who have the status of a part-time resident of the state (less than 270 days) are not eligible.
How Much Amount?
A maximum amount of 600 US Dollars as a one-time lump sum payment is to be issued by the state of Idaho. The amount can differ from person to person where the minimum amount is deemed as 300 US Dollars and the higher amount as 600 US Dollars.
The State Tax Commission of Idaho has stated that a total amount of 500 million US Dollars in an 800,000 rebate would be sent over to the eligible recipients. The process can take time up to the end of March to be completed.
3. Illinois Cook County Guaranteed Income Program

1. Residency Requirements:
Should be a full-time resident of the County of Cook.
2. Income requirements:
- Should have an income of or less than 250 percent of the federal poverty line.
- An applicant who is an individual should have an income of or less than 33, 975 US Dollars.
- An applicant family consisting of four members should have an income of or less than 69, 375 US Dollars.

4. Illinois Evanston Town Guaranteed Income Program

An amount of 500 US Dollars would be issued as part of the program every month for two years.

5. Massachusetts
The people of Massachusetts can expect a direct payment program in February. The program is taken care of by the city of Chelsea in Massachusetts. It is a part of the Universal Basic Income Program that had already been initiated in the December of the last year, 2022.
The first round of payments was distributed in earlier months. February is set to witness the second round of the program that started in the December of 2022. The last date to submit an application for the program was at 12 pm on Jan 6, 2023, Friday.
The first phase of the program was successfully carried out by issuing payments in November 2020, and August 2021. A total number of 2,000 households had become beneficiaries.

6. Virginia

The chosen participants would be having the benefit of an amount of 500 US Dollars that they can receive up to two years from the date on which the program started.
7. Wisconsin
The people of Wisconsin can expect a direct payment program in February. The program is run by The Madison Forward Fund. The procedures of the program started earlier and when the applications have invited the authorities received applications numbering more than 3,000 ones in number. From these only 155 households were selected.
Who Is Eligible?
To be eligible for the program, the applicant’s household has to meet the requirement put forward by the Madison Forward Fund. The fund aims to aid families in the low-income group.
1. Child Requirements:
An applicant’s family should have children within the household. There should be at least one child in the household.
2. Residency Requirements:
An applicant should be a full-time resident of the city of Madison.
3. Income Requirements:
An applicant’s family should be having a total household income of or below 200 percent of the federal poverty line.
How Much Amount?
The payments are set to be issued on a monthly basis.
The program started to pay and assist the people in the October of 2022 with an amount of 500 US Dollars.
This is supposed to continue every month for one year since the debut of the program.
