Here Is the Nominee List for the 2021 Crown Gospel Awards

The 2021 nominees for the Crown Gospel Music Awards were announced via social media live streaming, hosted by founder and executive producer Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule.

KAMPALA | LIFESTYLE UGANDA (https://lifestyleug.com/) — Through social media live streaming, the Crown Gospel Music Awards 2021 nominees were announced. The ceremony was hosted by Crown’s founder and executive producer, Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule .

Although the pandemic slowed down the celebrations, gospel music hasn’t stopped and this year’s awards will celebrate the best musical performances in the gospel.

Zanele expressed gratitude for the number of entries received to attest to the growth of the Crown Gospel Music Awards.

“The number of entries received attests to the growing popularity of Crown Gospel Music Awards ,” Zanele notes.

“We appreciate the number of entries received to show our growth,” Zanele says.

Among the nominees at the 2021 Crown Gospel Awards, Takie Ndou leads the charge with seven nominations. He is followed by Ayanda Ntanzi and Xolly Mncwango, each with five nominations.

Gershom Mtimane, Kgaogelo Kekane, Xolly Mncwango, and Icebolakhe Lingenjwe are in the mix for a crown in the emerging ‘newcomers’ category.

As of now, gospel fans can cast their votes for their favorite artists by sending their favorite nominee codes to 34062. Each vote costs R1.50, and one can vote as many times as they like.

The Crown Gospel Music Awards will then be broadcast on SABC 2 at 20:00 and streamed through YouTube and Facebook on 28 November 2021.
