All show-goers will be required to present proof of vaccination, and guests under the age of 16 will only be allowed into the show if their results of the COVID-19 test come back negative.
The NYFW schedule spokesperson said to Business of Fashion , “We encourage the industry broadly to follow suit and protect the health and safety of our fashion community in September. We will closely follow updates and recommendations from the CDC, New York State, and the City, and will release guidelines in mid-August.”

According to a representative working closely with the NYFW schedule, “Together, we will explore and implement holistic health and safety guidelines for our fashion community this September, we will closely follow the CDC and New York State guidelines.
A memo from IMG to designers planning to show at NYFW stated, “Strict compliance will be enforced, and non-compliant designs will not be admitted.”
The memo stated, “Strict compliance will be enforced with access denied if non-compliance is not met, subject to state and federal laws.”
The IMG has made it clear that designers are ultimately responsible for enforcing the rules, thus far Rodarte, Moschino, Tom Ford, Ulla Johnson, and Peter Do have been confirmed to show in New York this upcoming fashion week.
