The French actor famed for the show Le grand restaurant, Pierre Palmade was involved in a fatal car crash on Friday around 7 pm at Seine-et-Marne, under the influence of cocaine.
The horrible accident left three others in the hospital who were initially reported to be in serious condition just like the comedian. Among the three victims, one was a child and the other was a pregnant lady who lost her child due to a heavy stroke from Pierre Palmade’s car which hit her out of the blue.
On Saturday, the public prosecutor Jean-Michel Bourles reported that Palmade was intoxicated while he hit the car. The magistrate immediately announced in the following press meeting that an investigation had been opened for the unintentional injuries caused by the driver who was under the influence of cocaine.
According to the Melun prosecutor, the vehicle rode by Pierre Palmade collided with the opposite vehicle where a man, a pregnant woman, and a 6-year-old child were seated. There was a possibility for a third vehicle to have been involved in the already dramatic car crash, which would have worsened the condition.
Following the astounding incident, comedian Pomade was taken to the Intensive Care Unit, said his family on Saturday. Three other people he hit were also in an absolute emergency.

But the condition of the two was still pathetic, but later it was announced that the father-son duo was getting better after the treatment.
Pierre Palmade’s family has been active at the hospital fulfilling the needs of the people affected during the crash. However, two other passengers, believed to be in their twenties, were also reported to have fled after the collision.
It was detailed by the witnesses, but a confirmation of the presence of two more persons in the accident is yet to be confirmed by the investigators, said the Melun Prosecution.
Is Pierre Palmade still in the hospital?
Although the comedian was immediately taken to the Intensive Care Unit at the Kremlin-Bicetre hospital, it was later announced by his family that his condition was far better and that he was freed from the ICU.
Pierre Palmade’s family shared in a statement to AFP that despite being affected by the accident, the comedian cum director was no longer in any danger. That was a piece of happy news for his fans who deliberately wished for his fast recovery.
Pierre Palmade’s history with narcotics
The Moliere Award-winning comedian, Pierre Palmade, who is also better known for playing unpleasant characters in the Sketches, was sentenced in 1995 for intoxication.
Although Palmade had an impressive career, his life was a total mess with the overconsumption of cocaine. In 2019, his name was again echoed in a case charging for “use and custody of narcotics.” But this time, Palmade was falsely accused of rape as well.
However, sometime in 2019, he admitted that coke ruined his life ever since he was 20. But his profession talks about something entirely different about him, due to the unmatched success he has achieved over the course of his career.
