The Voice has a new winner and it is Gina Miles. She got crowned on Tuesday night following the finale and made her coach Niall Horan the winner for the very first time.
After Carson Daly, the host of the program announced the winner, Horan ran towards the stage and hugged Gina while she was still recovering from the surprise of becoming the winner.
On Monday night, before the finale started Miles had said in an interview that she wanted to make the best of her life experience during that last show.
In her words, she was all set to live it up no matter what happens on the stage because to her it was not about winning it was just about the experience that came along with the performance.
She had never expected that she would make it this far but she managed to do that and that was a pretty big thing for her. Miles said that she wants to be living her best life.
When asked about her mindset about winning the upcoming stage performances she said what she really wants was to celebrate with everyone else who was going to be there with her and for her.
She did not deny that it was a really long experience but she also said that it was one of the best times of her whole life. And that she wants to celebrate it to the fullest.
For her the previous day of the finale was a bit stressful therefore she seems to be wanting to compensate for that too on the day of the finale.
She was genuine when she said that she actually wanted to get pizza last night but she could not as she was too tired, therefore she was planning to get a pizza and try to be more fun and relaxed.
Her third offering was on stage with her coach Horan and it was the duet on “New York State of Mind”.
The finale was also the last one for Blake Shelton who has been a part of this for the past 23 years. Carson thanked him for the incredible roles that Shelton has tok up for the show.
He, being the host, concluded the show by expressing gratitude to Bale, wishing him a good night, and also by appreciating Gina for her big victory. The celebrities who were present at the big night were Adam Levine, Diplo and Lily-Rose, Cee Lo Green, and Toosii.
Who Actually Is Gina Miles?
The new crown winner of The Voice is a 19-year-old girl who was born and brought up in Paxton, Illinois.
When she realized that what she actually wanted was to actively participate in the music industry she decided to pursue it as her career and moved to Sacramento with her aunt. This decision came when she was at the end term of her junior high school year.
Her dad was a DJ which can be considered as the root cause for her being attached to music from her early childhood itself. She grew up in between his musical ventures and was with him most of the time. It was because she was raised by her father alone. He used to conduct a DJ party every weekend.
On turning 14, she wanted to be an actual part of her DJs rather than just sitting along with the audience. She asked her dad and he let her help him with his events.
Miles already has an extended play musical recording out. She released it in 2022 and its name is Who Are You. Her album contains 5 tracks. It was the first time she created original music.
Gina is famous for the friendship that she maintains with Kala Banham, another The Voice contestant.
They came face to face on the stage before and have even given out a duet on Skinny Love by Bon Iver. It was on the Battle stage which was won by Gina. Miles stated that they became so close after spending so much time together for the practice.
