Frank Gashumba made a revelation in which the netizens were shocked when they got to know that his daughter does not respect him anymore.
Sheila Gashumba his daughter was reportedly going against his words, not valuing his suggestions, ridiculing him for his choices and views, and disrespecting him on more than one occasion.
He was talking about his experiences and he got emotional when mentioning what she had done and it was noted that her words has hurt him.
Frank Malingumu Gashumba raised his daughters as their single parent. He has 3 daughters. Sheila Gashumba is his eldest daughter. The young one to her is Catherine Gashumbo, about whom much of the information is not known to the public.
In addition to his own daughters, he had adopted another young girl child by the name of Aisha Nabukeera.
He made the decision to take her as his own when he could not tolerate the cruelties the child had to suffer from her stepmother which included burn marks and other severe injuries. Nabukeera is one among the 12 African youth ambassadors of the Bill Gates Foundation funded by Bill Gates and Melinda Gates.
She has remarked Frank Gashumba as the one for her success. She addressed him as uncle Frank Gashumba and said that he has been more than a father to her from the very beginning of her ordeal and that she would be forever grateful to him.
Gashumbo has been an incredible father by ending always being there for his daughters. He has not taken a wife and chooses to lead a single life. According to his words, he does not have a good relationship with Tinah Mukuza, the mother of his daughters. He considered that the mother has ruined the life of his daughter.
Frank’s relationship with his elder daughter Sheila has always been the subject of the news. He was looked at as the father that any daughter would ask for to have. He has stood up for his daughter who had topped headlines in multiple controversies and has led a reckless life.
Gashumba considers his daughters as his world and he has always prioritized the need to spend time with one’s own family. Earlier he had commented about the importance of family in many venues.
He said that parents must love, protect, defend, guide, and mentor their children and that was the reason why he spends most of his time with his family. His thoughts were that they would be the only people that would be there for him if he got admitted to a hospital or if he ended up in a prison or in any other trouble.
He added that for him family was not like friends or staff who might not be there for him despise the time, situation, and day. He had a general opinion that many of his fellow people spend more time with the people that they call as friends who would not be there for them in their time of actual need and he called it unfortunate.
His family had faced many criticisms which he faced with a bold face and at one point he even referred to the haters as piglets.
Sheila was in the news for the life choices she made that were constantly called out by speculators. Frank had come out to defend himself and said that the only feeling he had was pride for the kind of life his daughter had chosen to lead.
He blamed Sheila’s mother for the lifestyle that she had adopted. He thinks the mother is the driving force for the bad habits that his daughter had picked up.
He said that Sheila was meant to join the campus in the right year, but what prevented that from happening was that her mother took over after the semester 6. He openly said that Sheila was not to blame for anything and that it was her mother.
He was so surprised that the media has never come out to look for Sheila’s mother, a person that ruined her daughter’s future.
He made an appeal to the mothers out in the community to protect and safeguard their children’s careers and futures.
Frank proudly remarked that when Sheila was 18 years old she had a C V which no other child at her age had.
He has never missed an opportunity to mention that his daughter was also the brand ambassador for many companies that included Centenary Bank, Africell, and Radiant.
Gashumba has previously shared his experiences of raising her as a single father. He recalled that he had raised the girl alone from point 1, educated her well, also he had given her everything, and then suddenly there was a third force that was fighting hard to derail her.
He referred to Sheila’s mother and her partner as the force that was trying hard to separate her from him. He said that Sheila’s mother and her partner Rukutana have a kid together and why was she after all the years trying to win the child back. He questioned where was the so-called mother all times in which he raised Sheila. He stated that no one could dictate the way by which he runs his home.
Before there were reports that Gashumba had horribly beaten up and locked Sheila in her room for more than 12 hours. He was triggered because she arrived at home late and drunk one night accompanied by her friends.
On this occasion, Sheila’s mother had appeared to save her. Tina, her mother came to know about this when Sheila called her for help. Tina had immediately reached Kabalagala Police Station and file a complaint against her former partner.
Sheila had requested the police to keep the incident private and to not let it go out to the media and she said that she had forgiven her father. She is the television host of the entertainment show NBS After5, which is premiered on NBS Television.

Gashumba in his explanation said that he slapped Sheila because he thought that would discipline her. He said that his number one duty and assignment was to protect guide and defend her from Kawukumi (weevils).
He further said that being a single parent would teach one a lot about parenthood that many other people would not understand. He considered himself as a very patient person and as someone who does give plenty of second chances but he was not a saint.
He added that when a child turns 18, grows above, and acts out of order a parent would run of solutions to protect the child. He disclosed that in his case he was left to seek therapy and advice from other people on how to handle his own daughter.
He had given out a piece of general advice to the young girls and urged them to live a life within their means and warned them to not get deceived by men who would infect them with diseases and would dump them in the end. He reminded them that they should always keep in mind that their family members would be the only ones who would be there for them.
Frank Malingumu Gashumba is a political observer, businessman, and social entrepreneur from Uganda. He is also noted for his roles of being a human rights activist, journalist, digital influencer, and motivational speaker.
He belongs to the Munyarwanda tribe of Uganda. He was born in Villa Maria, Masaka District Central Uganda and he is 48 years old now. Gashumba has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
