One of the country’s biggest and most anticipated annual music and arts festivals, Coachella 2023 is back for its installment. The date of this year’s festival is set to start from April 14, 2023, and will last up to April 23, 2023.
The event is held at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado desert. The festival holds a rich heritage and history and it can be traced back to 1993.
Throughout the history of the festival, it was the first time in 2020 that the event got canceled due to the threats of the COVID-19 pandemic.
While there was some drama associated with the 2022 event, it was headlined by singers like Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, The Weekend, and Swedish House Mafia. The authorities have also published a very exciting and extraordinary lineup of performers for the 2023 festival.
This year’s festival is planned to take place over two weekends. The first set will be from February 14 -16 and the second phase will be from February 21 – 23. The announced lineup of the show is truly jam-packed with stars.
As per the announcement, Coachella 2023 show will be headlined by artists like Bad Bunny, Blackpink, and Frank Ocean. Along with the headline performers, artists like Rosalia, Gorillaz, Bjork, Charli XCX, Jai Paul, and a few more will be gracing the stage.
After the 2020 edition of the festival got canceled, the co-founder of the show Paul Tollett made the announcement that Frank Ocean will headline the Coachella 2023 edition of the festival. He was the artist who was supposed to headline the 2020 edition, which unfortunately got canceled.
While being asked about the early reveal, Paul replied that he was just being fair to the artist and the fans. He also added that he wanted to make sure that the fans get to see everyone that the organizers talked about.
Rapper Kanye West was one of the artists who was supposed to headline the 2022 show but West backed out from the show almost just ten days before the event.

The Weekend and Swedish House Mafia then decided to take the place of Kanye West as headliners and later, West was sued by the Phantom Labs in Los Angeles for an alleged amount of $7 million on the grounds of the argument that Kanye owed the firm money for his performance that got canceled at Coachella.
Even though the event had to face some initial drama, the 2022 event turned out to be a very successful one and fans were completely satisfied with the performances and the line-up. Another notable attraction of the 2022 show was the surprise performance from artists like Lizzo, Shania Twain, and Hatley Williams.
Their appearance at the event was completely unannounced and was a great surprise for the audience. Fans are pumped up more than usual and very much looking forward to such surprises planned by the organizers for the 2023 edition.
