Chris Paul started his official professional basketball career with the New Orleans Hornets. He was picked by the team in the 2005 NBA Draft. Paul was named the NBA Rookie of the Year, just falling short of one vote to win the award unanimously. Deron Williams was the only other rookie to win a first-place vote.
Chris Paul rose to stardom through his game during the period from 2007 to 2011. His journey toward becoming one of the greatest point guards of all time started in 2007 as he was selected for his first NBA All-Stars game.

His wife Jada Crawley was his college sweetheart and they both got married on September 10, 2011. The couple had been together ever since and they both have two children from their marriage. They welcomed a son in May 2009 and a daughter in August 2012.
Paul also has a brother who used to play basketball at Hampton University and the University of South Carolina Upstate.

The name Chris Paul was mentioned in association with social media celebrity Kim Kardashian by her ex-husband and famous rapper Kanye West. In a tweet posted by the rapper on Friday, he mentioned that he had caught Chris Paul along with his then-wife Kim Kardashian. He posted a photo of Chris Paul and to quote his tweet, he said that “I caught this guy with Kim.” Neither Kim Kardashian nor Chris Paul has responded to the tweet.
The allegations about the player and his ex-wife were made by Kanye before his Twitter account was reported to be suspended by the app in terms of ‘incitement to violence.’
