BTS Jin’s Buzzcut, Jimin’s Gesture & farewelljin Trending

Kim Seok-jin, often known as Jin, one of the star singers of the world’s most popular Korean pop boy band, BTS, gets styled in a buzz cut prior to his enlistment in the military.

Jin enlisted to join the South Korean army on December 13. The images that were featuring him in a buzz cut were posted by himself in a fan community. He had posted selfies of him on that platform.

The buzz cut was opted for by himself following the guidelines of the army. In the posted photo he was seen wearing a plain black t-shirt.

Following the posting of the photo, his fans and the fans of the band were going crazy. The photo became a huge hit soon after it was posted and now it has gone viral and is trending across various other social media platforms. 

BigHit Music, the agency of BTS, had released an earlier statement that mentioned the military service of Kim Seok-jin. As per the statement, it is to be understood that Jin would fulfill his required time with the military by enlisting in the army. The statement asked the people to note that they would not be holding any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment.

The statement further went on and said that the entrance ceremony would be a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only.

They asked the fans to kindly refrain from visiting the site which is a safety measure that is to be taken in order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding. They also asked the fans to keep their heartwarming words of support and farewell in their hearts rather than crowding at the site.

The statement also sought the continuation of the love and support from the fans towards the singer, Jin, until he comes back after finishing his required time of serving in the army.

The statement also assured that the company would strive to provide every support that would be needed by Jin during the time of service. The hashtag #farewelljin is trending across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. The fans are using it as a way of bidding bye to their beloved singer. 

As per the latest reports, it is hinted that the authorities in the military serving would be taking more than usual measures in order to ensure the singer’s safety during his enlistment at the military training center.

Jin had his debut solo last October with the single titled The Astronaut. It was prior to the act of fulfilling his duties for his nation. 

He had confirmed the news about him joining the army. It was confirmed by him in the previous month. The K-Pop sensational singer is supposed to be training at the recruit training center in  Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, where it is expected that he would be receiving training for a time period of 5 weeks.

After the successful completion of the training, he is supposed to be deployed at the unit of the army which would be focused on the front line.

In the meantime, Jimin, another prominent member of the global band, changed his Weverse photo. He set the buzz cut photo of Jin as his new Weverse photo. Weverse is a social media platform hosting the content of K- Pop bands. It also has a feature that enables communication between fans and artists. 

The photos are making fans go sentimental. Considering the fact that BTS has a worldwide fan army and base, the reactions received by the buzz cut photo and Jimin’s gesture is huge.

Jimin has also reportedly become a part of the list for the video snippet in the Photo Folio Chaos that was released by Big Hit which is also known as HYBE on Bangtan TV. As per the photographs, the singer was seen engaged in discussion with the staff. The discussion is supposed to be regarding the outfits. 

The BTS members had previously announced their willingness to be a part of the South Korean army policy known as conscription. As per this policy, all able-bodied men are required to join the army and serve in it for a time duration of 18 months.

The action of the K- pop band members serving in the military would cause an impact on the economy of South Korea which is estimated to be directly impacting the nation’s economy and revenue generation.

As per the now available reports, the band is making a contribution of value which is estimated to be 3.9 million USD per year.

In addition to Jin, the other members of the boy band who are supposed to join the army are Jungkook, J-Hope, V, Jimin, Suga, and RM. They are expected to be a part of enlistment sooner. After the members, each of them, fulfilling a period of 18 months in the army, the group is looking forward to reconvene around 2025.
