The speech of a man is what gives him his freedom, but what gives a woman her strength is her audacity to increase the stakes in terms of support for the ostensible stance of freedom. The old adage that “behind every great man there is a great woman” is not only true, but also consistent with the unflinching support that is being given to the men folks.
She is both audacious and charming in equal measure. She is brave, yet she never wavers in her commitment to the cause. Shaggy, a great star from Jamaica, sang about the genuine strength of a woman in one of his motivational songs titled “Strength Of A Woman.” Barbie has, over the years, demonstrated the real strength that women are capable of.
Barbie was born in 1985 and spent much of her childhood as a church girl, where she had the opportunity to listen to the stories of many girls, particularly those who married not because they wanted to but because their parents had accepted dowry, a practise that is unfortunately still practised today. She was accepted for a Social Works and Social Administration (SWASA) degree because of her admirable goal to get involved in activism, and she had the nagging thought and cause of re-engineering the mediaeval narrative of forced marriage. This was the reason she was admitted. Barbie was able to realise her ambition because to the resoluteness with which she pursued it. She became a full-fledged advocate for girl children when she founded her own organisation for girl children and women called Caring Hearts Uganda.
Caring Hearts Uganda is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) initiative that empowers and raises the standards of young people through the promotion of sustainable development, lifelong education (stay in school) primarily for girls, and entrepreneurship skills, amongst many other things. This is done in Uganda.

The book “Golden memories of a Village Belle” written by Barbie reflects her significant involvement in charitable endeavours, including raising awareness about cancer, HIV, female child education, and the elimination of malaria, amongst other issues.
She is, however, well known for her participation in efforts in Uganda aimed at lowering the number of deaths that occur during childbirth among mothers and their children.
The activist, who is 36 years old, has received many awards in recognition of her outstanding contributions to her immediate world as a quintessence of black excellence. One award in particular that stands out is the Award for supporting teen mothers called the “Cordeiro Excellence in leadership Award 2018,” which was presented by the Aid Child Leadership Institute.
This award is given to Barbie in recognition of the intuitive brilliance she demonstrates in her leadership and mentorship of young people in their day-to-day lives in such a wide variety of ways.
