Tiktok is here with yet another viral trend, this time it is an expression called, ‘Sigma Face’. If you raise your eyebrow, parallel to your mouth area appearing that you have made a pout, hence you got your sigma face.

Due to the Tiktok trend, the actual meaning of the words got evolved, where the traditional meaning of sigma is, As per Urban Dictionary, sigma refers to a specific type of guy who exudes power, is successful, and is independent.

The sigma face gained popularity because of a tiktok user @argenby, who posted a content making such a face last November on Tiktok. His post has got over 95 million views, making his post go viral, since then other users started recreating the same.
@argenby drew his inspiration for the sigma face from American Psycho origin of the face as we got to know that fact because @argenby later on his account dressing up like the same American Psycho.
That is how sigma face came into existence, where firstly @argenby brought thus trend, thus, the original meaning of sigma found its evolved form which is however said to be, kinder and respectful.
Steps to Make ‘Sigma Face’
Since sigma face got viral, it has become a trend everyone one tiktok wants to follow. So, as per HITC, @argenby shared a three step process to show how it can be recreated.
The first step gets you to frown with the emphasis on turning your raised eyebrows inward. Think the classic Dawson crying face meme, and you’ll be on the right track.
The next step is to try and maintain the same eyebrow expression with no movement of the mouth. Finally, add in a smirk before mouthing “oo,” and you’ve got it.
For those who are unable to get the eyebrows down, don’t worry, the creator has covered that in a separate video too. In the video, it shows that you must first raise your eyebrows and then angle the inner together, creating somewhat of a point of a triangle.
