Have you watched the premiere of The Voice Season 23? The famous American singing reality competition series, The Voice, is back with another set of talented musicians.
Besides the series of The Voice that premiered so far, there have been a few significant events this season. Firstly, Kelly Clarkson has rejoined the coaching staff after taking a break to celebrate her season 21 victory with a girl named Tom.
Kelly isn’t the only newcomer to the show this season; Boy bander turned pop singer-songwriter Niall Horan and rapper Chance the Rapper debut this season. It’s the final season for Blake Shelton after 23 seasons in 12 years.
In contrast to last season which had 14 contestants in each team, this season will have 10 contestants per team. The group of Blake Shelton’s Team Blake already got their three contestants.
Tasha Jessen was one of the contestants from the first episode of The Voice Season 23. A tone that impressed the coaches and audience paved the way for Tasha to be part of Team Blake.
Tasha Jessen: The Contest Who Gave A Chaotic Audition
There are many talented people on The Voice, but one woman particularly impressed the coaches during the Season 23 debut blind auditions.
Tasha Jessen, a singer from Pakistan, sings River on The Voice 23 Blind Auditions premiered on Monday, March 6, 2023. She has impressed the three mail coaches making them turn their chairs. Chance, Niall, and Blake turned their chairs in the blind audition due to Tasha’s tone and range.
The 20-year-old contestant Tasha Jessen’s interpretation of Leon Bridges’ “River” stunned judges Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarson, Chance the Rapper, and Niall Horan.
Blake Shelton, the longtime coach in the singing reality competition The Voice, begged the Colorado Springs singer to join his final group, Team Blake.

Tasha chose to be a part of Team Blake after Blake Shelton persuaded her to join the team, mentioning many times that this was his final season.
Shelton complimented Tasha by telling her that her voice of Tasha is hard to define and it’s the best thing she has. Blake said her that it is his last season and he will be so proud if they have her on Team Blake.
Along with other contestants, Neil Salsich and Alex Whalen, Tasha Jessen became Team Blake’s only woman so far this season.
The range and tone of Tasha impressed the three male coaches even though she tried to do a little too much. In the following episodes, Tasha hopefully treats her fans with great performances and makes Shelton’s final team win this time.
The Hardship Tasha Jessen Overcame In Building Her Talent
Tasha Jessen is a 20-year-old singer born and raised in Pakistan. She is now living in Colorado Springs with her husband Maverick.
Even though Tasha Jessen had singing talent in her genes, the environment she had been raised made it hard for her to chase her dreams. She was born and raised in Pakistan, an Islamic country where she faced several difficulties.
During her school days, Tasha faced several kinds of troubles because she was the only Christian student there.
Even though Tasha’s parents and the whole family were also into music, she had to keep her talent inside because of the circumstances in her upbringing. Tasha said that she stood out like a sore thumb because her mother was too afraid to allow her to leave the house.
Tasha and her family moved to Thailand when she was 12 years old, leaving Pakistan due to religious intolerance. There was so much chaos happening around them and thus they forgot about music.
Tasha eventually made her way to the US, having just gotten her visa last year. She now resides in Colorado with her husband, Maverek, the main guitarist of a local church.

The Family Support Tasha Jessen Has In The Journey Of Music
Tasha Jessen married Maverek Jessen in December 2017. Maverick is a Colorado native. Tasha moved to the US after the marriage. Maverick is the main guitarist in a local church in Colorado where they reside. Tasha frequently shares the stage with Maverek in several local shows.
After her amazing performance at The Voice Season 23 audition, Maverek said that he didn’t know any other best singer other than Tasha since he met her.
She was excited to land in the US and to follow her dream career in Music. She landed in the US last year, immediately she began working hard and grabbing opportunities to achieve her dreams and goals.
Maverek said that it was her dream to participate in front of those coaches and she wanted to show the young girls in Pakistan that success was possible for her too.
Tasha’s parents couldn’t attend her performance at The Voice. After the performance, her parents video-called her and told her that they felt very proud of their daughter. They were happy and were also proud of Maverek, who always stood for their daughter’s happiness.
