If you are familiar with the show ‘Good Morning America,’ ABC’s morning news show, chances are high that you are familiar with the name T J Holmes. Holmes is one of the several hosts of the show and had been making the headlines for a rumor associated with him and his fellow-host Amy Robach.
The latest news suggests that they both were leaving their spouses for each other and were reported to be cheating on their spouses for months, as they had been dating for quite a while. Holmes joined ABC News in 014 as an anchor but it was only in 2020 that he joined the show ‘Good Morning America’s GMA3: What You Need To Know.’

Familiar to people as an American journalist and television personality, T J Holmes was born on August 19, 1977, in West Memphis, Arkansas, U.S.A.
Holmes was born the youngest one out of the two children his parents had. The nickname T. Jr was given by his family which changed to T J as he started his professional career as a television anchor. As of 2022, Holmes is 45 years old.

T J Holmes‘ Media Career
Holmes attended the University of Arkansas from which he earned a degree in broadcast journalism. Holmes started his media career at KSNF Channel 16 which is based in Joplin, Missouri. He worked there for almost a year and then returned back to Arkansas, his hometown.
There, Holmes found a job at the KTHV in Little Rock where he took the role of a general assignment reporter. He also received a promotion as the weekend anchor within a year of his time there.
Holmes worked at different media agencies during his career but the turning point in his career came after he joined CNN in the year 2006. During his time there, he was a co-anchor for Saturday & Sunday Morning along with Betty Nguyen, and later he started hosting the show solo after Betty left for CBS.
In his media career, Holmes covered some of the sensational and prominent news like the first papal visit of Pope Benedict XIV to the United States in 2008. He also anchored the event. Holmes also presented the first stories from the survivors of the US flight crash in the Hudson river in 2009.
Holmes also anchored on significant events like the execution of Saddam Hussein, the Mumbai terrorist attack, and also the terrorist attack at the Glasgow airport.
In 2011, Holmes left CNN and the Christmas day of 2011 was his last day there.
After leaving CNN, Holmes joined BET and they both revealed that he had signed a multi-platform deal with BET. In August 2012, Holmes was announced to be the host of their new show ‘Don’t Sleep,’ but the show was announced to be canceled later and Holmes left BET.
Following his resignation from BET, Holmes appeared on MSNBC as a substitute anchor multiple times and he finally decided to return back to CNN for a brief time.
After being part of different media firms, Holmes joined the ABC News team in September 2014. He had been working at the firm ever since.
Personal Life
Along with his successful media career, Holmes is also a part of multiple organizations that function for the greater good. He is a member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta which aims at bringing up and empowering African Americans through different means like education.
He is also a member of the Chancellor’s Board of Advisors for the University of Arkansas and also a member of the Board of Visitors at Emory University in Atlanta.
Holmes got married for the first time to Amy Ferson in 2007. The couple has two children from their marriage, their daughters Brianna and son Jaiden. However, Holmes and Amy got divorced in 2007.
After his divorce, Holmes got married again in 2010. This time, he was married to Marilee Fiebig, who was the Atlanta-area attorney. They also have a daughter named Sabine, who was born in 2013.
