CBS is back with its long-running reality television show, Survivor, with its new installment and fans are chomping at its arrival since the show released a special episode on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
This spring is about to witness the rollercoaster ride as the Emmy-winning juggernaut has shared its glimpse, ensuring a brand new ride with “18 determined new castaways” will be up this time, as the host Jeff Probst said they are forming a society to adapt to the “physical and social surroundings.”
Until the 40th season, the competition was more theme-based, such as fans vs favorites, heroes vs villains, and so on. Keeping that in mind, it’s obvious for you to guess that after the next 3 successful seasons, the latest series would have a specific kind of theme hidden in it.
After receiving a green light from CBS in March 2022, Survivor 44 wrapped its production last summer and the network announced the identities of its contestants in January 2023.
Although the reaction received for the last few seasons was not that impressive, the showrunners seem to be pretty sure that they are going to hit the jackpot this year, with beautiful and handsome competitors from around the world.
Survivor Season 44 Cast: The 18 Contestants Of Are Split Into Three Tribes
We are quite sure that you must have already watched the 2-hour episode that was released yesterday, and if you have, then you must have also understood the 44th season of Survivor is going to connect the stranded contestants after dividing them into three different tribes- Tika, Soka, and Ratu.

Although classified as groups, (3 tribes of 6 people each) there will be no consideration of the level of adventure each individual should embark on, as their life in the show would be stuffed with multiple intriguing tasks and challenges.
Without any further delay, let’s take a quick rundown of the Survivor 44 cast.
◾ Carson Garrett (Tika)
The 20-year-old Carson is the youngest contestant in Survivor Season 44- younger than the show itself. With the potential to become a rocket scientist one day, Carson is a Tech student at NASA, hailing from Georgia.

Although he appears to be the “nice guy” of the tribe, we can really foresee him transforming into a massive player with his unassuming persona and intelligence.
◾ Helen Li (Tika)
Apparently, Helen Li is somewhat ditto of the Survivor 41 winner Erika Casupanan and it is worth waiting to know if she will repeat history by taking home the trophy after being the next lady Survivor after Erica. She is a 29-year-old with a bubbly persona from San Francisco, California.
Li is skilled as a product manager, who has mastered proper negotiation abilities, which is certainly a plus point she holds. With a pinch of mind games added, Li can easily win the show.

◾ Sarah Wade (Tika)
Sarah Wade has an emotional reason behind her presence in Survivor Season 44 as very recently, she lost her dear friend in a tragic incident. So, the 27-year-old is determined to pursue her dreams no matter what, as she wants to do everything in life that her late friend couldn’t.
So, currently, the management consultant is prepared to push herself through every odds to make herself the winner of Survivor 44 and supposedly, the cute face might not always be cute throughout the show. if she focuses on her face, then it might become hard to sustain herself on the beach.

◾ Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho (Tika)
Seems like creating history isn’t a big deal for this beardo, as Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho has already made one being the foremost ‘Survivor’ from Puerto Rico. Our eyes are already stuck on the 36-year-old who has that ‘fun-loving’ personality that is quite attractive.
His style describes his profession as a beauty salon owner, and his smile is more than enough to predict what kind of role he is going to play among the other 17 contestants.
Simply put, Yami is simply exploring the beach with the teen version of himself. At least for now, he looks like a bee wandering around the beach, humming some music.

◾ Carolyn Wiger (Tika)
Carolyn Wiger is a living exemplar of authenticity as she doesn’t appear to hide any part of herself. By now, Wiger has notched attention by simply displaying her goofiness, sensitivity, and other traits that not everybody would prefer to showcase on national television. However, Wiger doesn’t care about anything that comes her way, including the other Survivor season 44 cast on the show.
Most probably, the 37-year-old Minnesota native is applying Maryanne Oketch’s theory as the latter managed to make a giant step to the million dollars by being her true self on the show.
Coming back to Wiger, she is a drug counselor, bringing both adults and kids back to life, after previously overcoming her own addiction.

◾ Bruce Perreault
Bruce is a 46-year-old realtor all the way from Warwick, Rhode Island. He has all the qualities that a man would possess after growing up in foster care. With the help of lessons he has learned, he sure respects the value of relationships, regardless of whether it is short-term or long-term.
And the one thing that you might first notice about Bruce is his ‘carefree confidence,’ something that is rarely seen these days. When it is coupled with his positivity, Bruce’s competency becomes unquantifiable.

◾ Heidi Logares (Soka)
Following the footsteps of the epic Survivor Sandra Diaz-Twine, Ms. Heidi is here to take home the million-worth prize money. She is one of the prominent members of the Survivor season 44 cast.
She wants to dedicate her victory to anyone who has so far been mocked for their accent as the 43-year-old was a Puerto-Rican, who moved to Pennsylvania at her 23.
Building her life from the scratch, she learned that life isn’t the same for everyone and she is looking forward to making it easy for her and her family by taking an identity from the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji.

◾ Matt Blankinship (Soka)
The Californian native, Matt Blankinship is a cybersecurity software engineer. If his profession is something to go by, then we can see that he would have greater potential in strategic plays, ultimately creating alliances among the tribe.
It is also noteworthy that the 27-year-old is equipped with his error-finding skills, which is crucial to play in Survivor.
Although Matt stumbles ten times a minute, he is ready to brush it off and move on with advantages stuffed in his pockets.

◾ Danny Massa (Soka)
Danny Massa is definitely an asset to the tribe Soka as the firefighter in Massa adds to its physical strength when it comes to teamwork. His easy adaptability is another quality that team Soka should be proud of.
Massa, 32, is a New York-born man, who might look pretty, but isn’t that pretty inside. In fact, Survivor season 44 cast must be a doddle for him considering the line of work he gets in a day. So apparently, Massa is ready to throw himself at any fearful unknown task that comes on his way.

◾ Frannie Marin (Soka)
The research managing student, Frannie Marin, is a 23-year-old beautiful woman from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Within the tornado of chaos, Marin looks calm and mindful, whereas, at the same time, she is equally strategic while playing.
The young lady is pulling the most out of her study major, as the researcher is good enough to observe and collect information that will enable her in efficient decision-making.

◾ Claire Rafson (Soka)
Claire Rafson is an ambitious 25-year-old from Brooklyn, New York. She is a venture capitalist and tech investor who was a fan girl of Survivor.
Imagine how well a player would shape their potential when they are finally placed in the field after years of effort. That would be Claire Rafson for you. Her social skills and unique background make her outstanding and hopefully, we will carry her to Day 26.

◾ Josh Wilder (Soka)
Wilder is the only fitness freak in the entire Survivor Season 44 cast. It’s a mere game of destiny that the 34-year-old is a contestant in the reality TV competition that is taking place in 2023 when in 1998, the 5-year-old version of himself was battling to death with life-saving transplant surgery.
However, his experience made him a surgical podiatrist after years and moreover, currently he is a potential challenge to the other tribes in Survival.
Being true to his job, Wilder has a unique clinical way of approaching the game which is also a stunning fact about the guy.

◾ Matthew Grinstead (Ratu)
The self-proclaimed “water-baby” kid, Matthew Grinstead is a 43-year-old barbershop owner from Columbus, Ohio. He is good at building relationships across the island as Matthew is indeed a social butterfly. But only time will tell if he is a friend or foe.

◾ Lauren Harpe (Ratu)
Far from her elementary school, the teacher, Lauren Harpe is set to take the competition to the next level. Having been leading her life as a single mother, Harpe is well-equipped with facing challenges. So, Survivor might look like the icing on the cake for the 31-year-old.
She is one of the vibrant members of the entire Survivor Season 44 Cast. However, we can’t stop ourselves from complimenting her curly hair, which undeniably makes her stand out.

◾ Brandon Cottom (Ratu)
Brandon Cottom is no new to the intense competition as the 30-year-old has appeared in multiple professional football leagues in the past few years. The player under the Wednesday Night Light is also a security specialist, and that enables him to differentiate fact from fiction.
The 2018 NFL fullback for the Seattle Seahawks is a resident of Newton, Pennsylvania. Not only does he have a built-in physique, but his mental calculations are often exact, which will be an advantage to foresee future events in the show. But how good he is as a survivor is yet to be known.

◾ Maddy Pomilla (Ratu)
Maddy Pomilla is an impulsive adventure addict who quit her job as a project manager at a charity to join Survivor. The New York native has already been the crush of thousands after she made her first appearance on screen. Growing up as the middle child of five daughters, it seems she will go quiet with the girls as well.

◾ Jaime Lynne Ruiz (Ratu)
The 35-year-old Arizona native is a marketing consultant for years who has been a pro in corporate America. Although her entire life was stuck between the numerals it seems her next 26 days will be dedicated to the million-dollar promotion.
When asked about her profession, Jaime first said that she does almost everything, hinting that no challenge can defeat her self-esteem.
Despite being physically stable, Jaime is also capable of making her moves in such a way that it does not even feel like a game plan. However, her fate in Survivor would be watching.

◾ Kane Fritzler (Ratu)
Kane Fritzler is a law student from Canada. Within his 25 years of life, Kane has learned several laws, that if the show insists, he can also be a jury to judge the remaining 17 contestants.
However, thanks to his educational background, he might be sufficient for the tribe Ratu to observe and negotiate at critical times.
But will he bring rules and regulations to the island this season? Well, that is yet to be found.
