The Pokémon Trading Card Game will release the Silver Tempest expansion in November. It has one of the biggest card sets in any Generation 8 TCG set. The Silver Tempest is the newest set in the Sword & Shield Series of Pokemon cards. It has 195 regular cards and 30 super rare cards.
Also, there are 30 more cards in a special Trainer Gallery subset. This set has lots of strong, rare, and valuable Pokemon cards. Below is a full list of all the cards in the Silver Tempest base set and Trainer Gallery.
Why are Pokémon Silver Tempest Cards Worth a Lot?
The Pokémon Silver Tempest card set has valuable cards for fans of the TCG. It has around 215 cards with new Radiant Pokemon, VSTAR, VMAX, and Trainer Gallery cards. Finding the rarest cards is important because some have sold for thousands of dollars.
The set also includes the famous Lugia Legendary Pokémon and was the final Sword & Shield set before Crown Zenith came out on January 20, 2023. Collectors really want this collection because they’re looking for the rarest and strongest Pokémon cards.
Just like May’s Pokémon Astral Radiance TCG expansion, Silver Tempest will also be divided into three different categories. The second category of this expansion includes 46 Secret Rares.
These rare cards come in Full Art, Rainbow, and Gold styles. What will really excite collectors about the final Sword and Shield expansion is that it’s packed with Alternate Art cards.
In particular, fans will be eager to get their hands on the unique artwork featured on the Alternate Art Unknown V and Alternate Art Lugia V cards. Plus, players will have the chance to find the highly anticipated Lugia VSTAR card, which comes in a rare golden holographic foil version. Below is the complete list of Secret Rares in the Silver Tempest set.

Final Note
Earlier sets like astral radiance and brilliant stars also have special trainer gallery cards. These cards make it more similar to getting rare cards and make opening packs more engaging.
With 195 regular cards, 30 super rare cards, and an additional 30 cards in the special Trainer Gallery subset, it offers a bunch of excitement for players.
Moreover, the inclusion of rare and powerful cards like Lugia has its value. This set is the 12th main Silver Tempest card set from the sword and shield era. So, it marks the end of the 8th generation sets on a good note.
