Ricky Ann Lauren is a 79-year-old American author, artist, and psychotherapist, who was born on June 15, 1943. She is the daughter of Rudolph Low Beer, and Margeret Vytouch, the two Austrian immigrants who later settled in New York City.
She was an English major at Hunter College, which probably paved the foundation for her high-quality writing as an author.
How Did Ralph Lauren Meet His Sweetheart?
While attending college, Ricky Lauren used to work part-time at an eye doctor, where she served as a receptionist. One evening, Ralph walked to her desk for an appointment and he was apparently mesmerized by her overwhelming beauty, which made him ask her out on the spot.
At the time, Ralph was only in a budding stage as he was starting out as a designer of neckties. However that night, the fashion tycoon gave Ricky a drive in his green sports car and stopped it before a pancake house in upstate New York.
By that time, he was cent percent sure that the lady sitting beside him was about to be his wife as Ralph wasted no time, but proposed to her on their first date. And, of course, she said ‘yes’ and the pair tied knots after a few months.
In a 2007 memoir, the fashion company CEO wrote that he was in love with the girl in her casual clothes, rather than a girl “with all the makeup and high heels,” and “that’s the girl I married.”

Andrew, 50, is an established actor and a film producer, and his younger brother David, 48, has been serving at Ralph Lauren Corporation as their Executive Vice President.
David married Lauren, the daughter of the ex-president, George Bush, and Ricky’s final kid, Dylan, 45, is the current CEO of Dylan’s Candy Bar. She is also the wife of hedge fund manager Paul Arruet.
Although Andrew does not appear to have any kids, Ricky’s second son, David has two sons named Max and James, with his sweet wife, Lauren, whereas her only daughter, Dylan has fraternal twins, daughter Kingsley, and son Cooper.
