Famous rapper Kanye West who now goes by the name Ye walked out of a sit-down interview with popular podcast Tim Pool on Monday. Kanye West has been making the headlines for the past few months for multiple controversies, including his offensive comments against the Jewish community. It was after being asked about the remarks he made about the community that Kanye stormed out of the interview.
Kanye appeared for the interview along with Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopoulos. Nick Fuentes is an American white supremacist political commentator who holds a strong antisemitic view and denies the Holocaust. Milo Yiannopoulos is a British right-wing extremist. He is also believed to be the campaign adviser for Kanye West for his 2024 presidential election.
During the interview, Kanye West was asked about the remarks he made, which argued that Kanye was purposefully targeted by a Jewish cabal, whom he believed to control the media and finance. In the interview, Kanye stated that he was being hosed down every day by the press, and financially. He also added that ‘they’ have even tried to put him behind bars.
The sudden walk-out of Kanye came after building their conversation on the topic that Kanye mentioned. To his response, Tim Pool replied that they have been unfair to Kanye. The reply prompted Kanye to ask for clarification on whom Tim meant when he said ‘they.’ Tim Pool replied that it was the media, an explanation that was further questioned by Fuentes. Nick Fuentes sought further clarification from Tim Pool, by asking him if it was the media, to which Pool replied with a no.
Kanye seemed aggravated by the reply and as Tim began to respond, Kanye got up and walked out of the interview. Following the further comments made by Tim Pool, Nick and Milo also eventually walked out.
Earlier Kanye West talked about his claims about questioning the influence of the Jews. In accordance with his claim, Kanye says that even if it was the truth, it is deemed wrong to claim that multiple people work in banks and also the media who happen to be Jewish.
Kanye also added that people who questioned the indoctrination are criticized and often demonized by the majority. He also mentioned the basketball player Kyrie Irving, who was accused of prompting an antisemitic documentary. The player later apologized for his action and was also suspended from his team for his actions. He played for the Brooklyn Nets.
Elaborating on his claims, Kanye also mentioned two more names associated with two former presidents of the United States. He stated that Rahm Emmanual, who was the administration chief of staff of President Barack Obama, and Jared Kushner, who was a special advisor to President Donald Trump were both Jewish. Kusher was also the son-in-law of Donald Trump.
It is clear that Kanye West has plans to participate in the United States presidential election which will be held in 2024. Kanye has also publicly admitted that he wanted former president Donald Trump to be his running mate.
In regards to the election news, Kanye has shared a picture of a symbol through social media. The picture appears to be a ‘Swastika’ that is featured inside the Star of David. Even though the symbol is associated with ancient Hindu ideologies, the appropriation of the symbol by the Nazis is what made it more recognizable to the modern world.
Kanye West ran for president in the election held in 2020, but the election results were terrible as he was only able to get fewer than 70,000 votes and he only came seventh among the other candidates.
Kanye had also been the center of many controversies in the recent past and also had to face some serious backlashes both in his professional and personal life, including the divorce he had to go through with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. He was also part of a big controversy following the events that took place at the Paris Fashion Week.
These controversies cost Kanye a lot. As a result of his anti-semitic statements, the German sportswear giant Adidas canceled the deal that they had with Kanye’s fashion brand, which was one the major revenue source for the artist and one of the most popular brands around the world. The controversies had also compromised the deals that he had with high-end fashion brand Balenciaga and also the U.S. clothing retailer Gap.
