Jay Leno's Car Collection 2023:

Jay Leno’s bonding with his cars is not a new thing! He is the proud owner of 180 exotic cars, which is a lot and that validates why people call him a gearhead.

From 90s Oldsmobile Toronto to Audi R8 Spyder, Leno boasts a collection of cars that together are worth more than $150 million in Jay Leno Car Collection

Jay, who is the number one automobile enthusiast alive today is attracted not only to cars like McLaren P1 but also to museum-grade artifacts, which astounds many. For some special reason, how such cars garnered Jay’s attention is still a well-kept secret.

While people drool over Jay’s car collection, he finds yet another way to add a few more pennies to his pocket as the former Tonight Show host has launched his own show titled Jay Leno’s Garage.

The show exhibits Jay Leno’s car list which ranges from the craziest cars to the most expensive ones.

A fun fact about Jay is that he still drives his foremost car occasionally, but his Big Dog garage in California has seen better deals. So, let’s see which are the top-notch cars that are housed in Jay Leno’s garage.

Although there are 180 cars that Jay owns, we are going to discuss the best of them.

◾ 1934 Duesenberg Walker Coupe – $20 Million

Jay Leno is a filthy-rich Hollywood personality and he loves to make people stare at his car collection in awe therefore he often shares glimpses of his drives in extravagant cars and recently, he shared one sitting in the Duesenberg Walker Coupe.

1934 Duesenberg Walker Coupe

As per the current estimation, the car is worth $20 million today, which is pretty much a great sum to spend on a car.

◾ McLaren F1- $12 Million

Apparently, McLaren F1 was one of the most sought-after cars of the 20th century. Designed by the iconic car designer Gordon Murray, McLaren F1 serves as the foundation of the T50 supercars.

Shortly after the car was launched, McLaren F1 grabbed a Guinness World Record for the fastest car produced, achieving a maximum speed of 240.1 mph.

McLaren F1

The car was only produced for 6 years starting from the early 90s, so the demand for the car is something to go by then McLaren F1 is certainly one of the most expensive cars in Jay Leno car collection.

◾ Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita – $4.8 Million

Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is open to other masterpiece items that are treasured in Jay’s garage. It is an engineering brilliance.

Koenigsegg ccxr trevita

The car comes in a silver-white color scheme which is rarely seen in the automobile industry. Moreover, Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita can be included in the category of most technologically advanced cars.

◾ 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400 – $3.5 Million

Lamborghini Miura was introduced in 1966 and it is gloriously owned by Jay Leno. The card has been recognized as the genesis of the modern-day hypercar and that is more than enough to explain why it is cherished in 2023.

1967 Lamborghini Miura P400

Also, Lamborghini Miura is one of the best cars included in Jay Leno car collection.

◾ 1928 Bentley Speed 6 – $3 Million

Jay Leno’s garage is overflowing with cars like the Bentley Speed 6, one of the exciting models produced by the British luxury brand. This version of the car only had 544 examples and the name plates stopped production after 1930.

1928 Bentley Speed 6

However, Bentley Speed 6 is dominating Jay Leno’s garage.

◾ 1939 Lagonda V12 – $2.56 Million

Lagonda is an automobile brand that was among the only a few companies that produced the sportiest models in the 30s. However, they are currently planning to unload a futuristic high-riding model that will make car enthusiasts yearn for it.

1939 Lagonda V12

Lagonda also owns the credit for the mind-blogging reproductions of Aston Martin models. But unfortunately, original Lagonda cars are rarely seen and that must be the reason why Jay ordered a custom-built replica of the breathtaking roadster.

◾ 1955 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing Coupe – $1.8 Million

It is hard to believe that the Gullwing Coupe was launched almost half a century ago. Could it be a game of time travelers?

However, Jay Leno’s car list involves a 50-year-old Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing Coupe, that is sure to add luxury to his Californian garage and it is also fair to expect that the car will fetch a respectable amount when kept in auction anywhere around the world as it is a Mercedes product.

1955 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing Coupe

The TRi-Star brand has so far managed to offer a string of exorbitant priced cars to the world. So, no wonder why Jay Leno car collection worth is undeniably higher.

◾ 2014 McLaren P1 – $1.35 Million

McLaren P1 is one of the supercars that provide a savage and unmatched driving experience when compared to the other hypercars. Lately, McLaren challenged the giant Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder, and proved to the world they weren’t merely overconfident, but confident with a reason.

2014 McLaren P1

Meanwhile, Jay Leno’s relationship with McLaren is dated before their P1 launch. Jay was the first one to own a McLaren P1 on the US shores.

◾ 1963 Chrysler Turbine – $1 Million

Jay Leno is one of the nine owners who possess a Chrysler Turbine in 2023. Only 50 units of the powered coupe were produced by the American automaker in 1962 for testing and after that only 55 Chrysler Turbines were ever produced, of which only 9 have survived.

1963 Chrysler Turbine

Luckily, Jay Leno bought one back in those days, and it’s a fact that nobody could offer better maintenance for their cars other than Jay, the multimillionaire.

◾ 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado – $150,000

The Oldsmobile Toronado was released at a time when cars used to feature front-wheel drive, and was one of the early automobiles manufactured in the US. Jay purchased the 1966 model to keep it as a rear-wheel-drive vehicle.

◾ 2011 Audi R8 Spyder – $157,000

The R8 Spyder is beyond your imagination as it is way more than a sports car. Many might say that Audi R8 Spyder adds a dashing style to the person driving it as the car itself looks amazingly good.

2011 Audi R8 Spyder

You must have heard racing aficionados say that Audi R8 Spyder is as fast as flash and they weren’t kidding, it is, in fact, one of the fastest vehicles in the world.

◾ 1909 Stanley Steamer – $185,000

You will get an outline of the car when you read its name once again as Stanely Steamer is a vintage steam-powered car. Simply put, Stanley Steamer runs on steam rather than oil. So imagine how old the car is.

1909 Stanley Steamer

But to be frank, the car doesn’t function smoothly. In fact, you will need at least 20 minutes or more to bring it into running condition and that is probably the reason why Jay is not very much seen driving it. However, it is still kept in Jay Leno’s car collection.

◾ 1986 Lamborghini Countach – $215,000

If you are from the 80s, then this Lamborghini model doesn’t require a formal introduction as you will be family with the extra-stunning car. Jay spent a whopping sum of  $2 million excluding its repair charge.

1986 Lamborghini Countach

Unfortunately, Jay hasn’t used it much because the car only looks great, but its performance is less than average.

◾ Blastolene Special – $350,000

Okay now, we have been waiting to introduce you to this particular vehicle from Jay Leno car collection as Blastolene Special is a real monster that weighs several thousand pounds. Jay has modified the item with the assistance of his mechanics to make the model legal in the 21st century.

Blastolene Special

Without a hunch, Blastolene Special is one of the best cars in Jay Leno’s car garage list.

◾ 2017 Ford GT – $453,750

The Ford GT is undoubtedly one of the best supercars America has ever seen. And obviously, it is one of the best in Jay Leno car collection as well. With a top speed of 216 mph, it gets 11 miles per gallon, which is quite impressive.

2017 Ford GT

◾ 2005 Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren – $459,500

When the car initially rolled out it had an MSRP of roughly $454,500, however, its current worth is under $300,000.

Although the value has decreased, Jay has not stopped adoring the car as it is still kept for display in Jay Leno’s garage.

◾ 2006 EcoJet – Invaluable

Eco Jet is next on Jay Leno’s car collection list. It is a technological showpiece that was displayed at the 2006 SEMA show held in Las Vegas.

2006 EcoJet

Arguably, EcoJet owns a striking design and it is one of the best qualities it has other than having a sustainably powered drivetrain.

◾ 2005 Mazda RX-8 – 425,375

In 2005, Jay received a Mazda RX-8 as a birthday gift from the company. In their newsletter, Mazda explained that the reason behind the gift was not just his birthday, but a gratitude present for accepting their endorsement deals particularly on their new RX-8 platform.

In other words, it was a thank-you gift for his last purchase of the Mazda Cosmo Mark II, the world’s first rotary-powered sports car.

2005 Mazda RX-8

Despite mocking the Ferrari-like redline, RX-8 proved that it was nothing better than an ordinary vehicle and the sales eventually plummeted 50% per year.

◾ 2011 Chevrolet Volt – $41,000

While Jay boasts about owning around 180 cars, his to-go car was always a Chevy Volt. During the LA Auto Show in 2011, he said that the Chevrolet Volt was his everyday car, regardless of his need. He used to run errands with it and nothing more can add meaning to his words.

2011 Chevrolet Volt

Indeed, the first-gen Volt was literally among the perfect cars which was a smash hit right out of the gate. Nearly a decade later, Volt was asked to recall every car it sold, but Jay instantly reacted to it by revealing his dis approvement.

◾ 1996 Mazda Miata – $18,450

Mazda Miata is a relatively cheaper sports car that has the capacity to quench the thirst of enthusiasts. It is also a reliable daily driver.

1996 Mazda Miata

In an episode of his great show, Jay Leno’s Garage, Jay himself said that Miata was everything that he ever needed with plenty of power, good handling, and impressive books. Coming from a man who spends millions on cars, it was one of the greatest compliments for Miata.

But what is more interesting about the car is that it still has the same competitive spirit in the market that it had at the time when it was launched.

◾ 1999 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe – $39171

To no one’s surprise, Jay has several Corvettes in his car collection including the Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, which is his favorite among all.

1999 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

“It just looks right,” said Jay about the Corvette car and it seems he adores this one a little extra.

◾ 2006 Ariel Atom – $41,995

Ariel Atom is simply a better version of Miata. After Jeremey Clarkson was involved with Ariel Atom, the car became internationally popular and the demand skyrocketed. Eventually, they signed a contract with Brammo Motorsports to produce American models.

According to Jay, Ariel Atom does its job to move as fast as it can with no extra doors, windows, or windshields.

Despite all these qualities, the original car was sold for less than its base price. However, Jay is proud to include Ariel Atom in Jay Leno’s car collections.

◾ 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 – $37,995

Jay Leno owns two of the most popular Challengers ever built: a 1970 R/T and a 2015 Hellcat.

As per Jay, Challenger was one of the scariest cars in his childhood. That would have definitely been a wonderful moment to own the dream car. But unfortunately, it is still not his favorite.

2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8

However, his SRT8 was way too far for the third-generation body style and it also has a remarkable classic design, making it stand out from the other cars in Jay Leno’s garage.

◾ 2012 Tata Nano – $1,334

Tata Nano is the cheapest car mentioned so far. It is just the most affordable car from Jay Leno car collection. Maybe, it is also the most affordable car on the entire planet.

2012 Tata Nano

In fact, the car was manufactured in such a way as to support families to buy a car without breaking the bank. However, it was not lucrative for Tata Motors, the Jaguar Land Rover’s parent company.
