Grace and Frankie are two ladies whose lives are irrevocably intertwined after the decision is made by both of their husbands to file for divorce so that they can be with the other person. Grace and Frankie’s tumultuous split serves to bring them closer together in a way that’s reminiscent of a comedy of errors.
Throughout the course of the show’s seven seasons, the two women cultivate a profound emotional bond with one another. Over the course of six and a half seasons, we have been privy to Grace and Frankie’s exploits as they band together to make it through their respective divorces, pick themselves up off the ground, and begin a new chapter in their lives. This part of the adventure is drawing to a close now.
After the release of the second half of Season 7, Grace and Frankie will have shown a total of 94 episodes, making it the longest-running original series produced by Netflix to date. In addition, Grace and Frankie were nominated for a number of awards, including five Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Tomlin and Fonda as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Sam Waterston, Martin Sheen, June Diane Raphael, Brooklyn Decker, Baron Vaughn, Ethan Embry, and Peter Gallagher are all returning for the final episodes of Grace and Frankie.
Oscar winner Jane Fonda and Emmy winner Lily Tomlin play the eponymous characters, Grace and Frankie, respectively. The show is produced by Skydance Television, and the showrunners and executive producers for the final season are Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morrison.
Other executive producers include Paula Weinstein, Robbie Tollin, Hannah KS Canter, Fonda, Tomlin, Marcy Ross, and Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost. Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg also serve as executive producers on the show.

Please take a look at the following for the Grace and Frankie official plot summary for the final season:
When their husbands of many years left them for… each other, Grace and Frankie’s lives were thrown into complete disarray seven years ago.
As they confronted their uncertain futures head-on and hand in hand, Grace and Frankie created an improbable and unshakable friendship with one another. They were not just training partners, but also partners in crime.
They have shared everything from laughter to tears to shrooms to being successful businesspeople together, and they have done all of these things together.
After a record-setting 94 episodes, Grace and Frankie continue to demonstrate to themselves, their families, and their fans what it means to live life to the fullest, without fear and without apologizing for it.
This show has made history. Cheers to seven seasons filled with laughter, tears, mood-enhancing moments, and positive energy! In the words of Grace and Frankie, “screw it,” the situation is hopeless. Even though this is the last chapter in their story, they are only getting started.
