About PVF (Pro Volleyball Federation)
Stephen Evans and Dave Whinham are the co-founders of PVF. They both have made the federation with the view of propagating their society.
They felt that people of America had to move to other countries to pursue a career in volleyball, where they were underpaid or had to face language barriers or had to live far away from home.
PVF also opened up doors for women’s leagues where, women’s volleyball received major boost last year in August when the University of Nebraska volleyball team set an attendance record for a women’s sporting event, drawing 92,003 fans to Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, as per SBJ
For Nebraska native Gina Mancuso-Prososki, now a member of the Omaha Supernovas squad, it’s “a dream come true” to play for her home team. “Here at Nebraska, we have fans who are the best in the world, and they truly love the game. So, I think Omaha will be a great spot for the media to really build that momentum.”
The founders have a vision to do good for their countrymen. Evans said the partners, as well as league staff, bring diverse expertise. “Dave and I don’t have a volleyball background at all, but we were able to hire some good people that do.”
