Trinity Laure’Ale, nicknamed Tink, was born on March 18, 1995, in Calumet, Illinois. She was given the nickname Tink by her friends in elementary school, and she used it ever since. In 2014, she released Winter’s Diary 2: Forever Yours, a mixtape sequel to her debut mixtape. The same year, Billboard placed the album ninth, and Rolling Stone ranked it eighth. She also worked with famous musicians such as Sleigh Bells, Jeremih, and Kelela.
She signed a contract with Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group in 2014. Her debut album was scheduled to release in 2015 according to the terms of her deal with Mosley Music Group.
However, there was a delay with the project. Due to the delay and some clashes with Timbaland’s company, Tink chose to terminate her contract with them and decided to start over.
In the meantime, she released her sixth mixtape and in the following year the seventh. She released a few non-album singles including Clocks and Commitment in the same year. In 2018, she released her debut EP, Pain & Pleasure, and in 2019, her mixtape, Voicemails.
In 2020, Tink released an album titled Hopeless Romantic. The heat of The Moment was released on July 30, 2021, and was produced by Hitmaka. Her latest album Pillow Talk The Tape was released on August 26, 2022.
