Lindsay Arnold of “Dancing with the Stars” and her husband, Sam Cusick, are having a girl.
IT’S A……….. GIRL!!!! “,” the 28-year-old professional dancer wrote on an Instagram video on Tuesday, November 1. “We are so happy that Sage will have a sister and can’t wait to add another sweet girl to our family.”
In the clip, Arnold, and Cusick, both 30, cover their eyes with neckties as people cheer for them. Sage Jill, the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, who will turn 2 on November 2, is then carried out in a bright pink dress. As the couple takes off their blindfolds, pink smoke explodes all around them, letting them know they are going to have another girl.

“Are you serious? One more girl! “, the Utah woman says excitedly as her husband looks at Sage and asks, “Are you going to have a sister?”
Arnold teased on social media about the gender of her baby before the big reveal.
Arnold wrote on her Instagram story, along with a selfie of herself looking shocked, “This is the face of a girl who just found out the gender of her baby.” She did this just two days after announcing her pregnancy in October. “I don’t want to keep you waiting too long, but I also want to keep this fun secret to myself for a little while longer. I’ll tell you soon, so stay tuned!! ”
The pro from Dancing with the Stars first said that she and her husband were going to have their second child earlier that same month.
“Baby #2 coming in May 2023,” she wrote on Instagram next to a slideshow of sweet family photos. “We are so happy and grateful to be adding to our family, and Sage can’t wait to become an older sister.”
The choreographer also talked about what it’s like to have two children. “To be honest, it still seems a little strange. It’s kind of crazy, but we’re so, so happy,” Arnold told E! The time, it was news. She said, “It was the best feeling ever.” “We’ve been trying for a long time with my husband. It was a huge blessing because we knew we wanted it. We’re glad to add to our family.”
Sage, the first child of Arnold and Cusick, was born in November 2020. The reality star wrote on Instagram at the time, “The most beautiful surprise on this very special day.” “Baby Girl and her mother are both well and healthy. More information will be coming soon, but I wanted to share this first picture of our little family.
Even though she loves being a mom, the reality star has been open about the fact that she had trouble getting pregnant in the past.
In August, she said in an emotional TikTok video, “When you get a positive pregnancy test and then start your period a few days later, but your darling daughter is there for you every step of the way.” “My lovely girl. The proud mother wrote in the caption, “I don’t know what I would do without her.”
The ballroom dancer has also had to deal with internet trolls and mom-shamers. In January 2021, she had to answer to people who said she was a bad mom for taking a family vacation during a COVID-19 surge.
“I am FAR from perfect, and you don’t have to tell me that. Instead of always looking for things to criticize, why don’t we use our time and words to be positive?”, the former “So You Think You Can Dance” contestant wrote this on her Instagram Story.
“I’m very over it. So, if you want to do that on Instagram, please stop following me and stop bothering my kind and loving followers.”
Later that month, Arnold talked to Us Weekly in an exclusive interview about her decision to answer the criticism.
She said, “I just wanted to say that it’s not OK, and will never be OK, to talk about someone else’s mom or how they raise their kids.” “First of all, I did that so I wouldn’t lose my mind. Don’t follow me if you don’t like what I do or what I post about, if you’re tired of my posts, or if you think I’m annoying. You don’t have to follow me if you don’t want to.”
She went on: “More than anything else, I said something because I want people who think they can sit at home and talk about other people and try to bring them down to know that it’s not OK. We need to help one another. We need to help each other. We must show love. And if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. “I kind of feel that way right now.”
