American TikToker and social media personality Dixie D’Amelio got hospitalized after nearly passing out.
The 21 years old Amelio was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance on May 18, Thursday, 2023. The news became viral as she was photographed several times by paps who followed her ambulance which was on its way to the hospital.
As per the now available reports, on Thursday Dixie was at work and it was all of a sudden that she felt uncomfortable and dizzy. Soon she felt like going unconscious. The reports say that she was working at a location near West Hollywood.
The ambulance was called to this location saying that there was a casualty that needed to be taken to the nearest medical care center as soon as possible.
As per the report, the reason for Dixie’s nearly fainting happened as her body was suffering from dehydration. Sooner she got treated with IV fluids. The pictures that went viral showed her being taken inside the ambulance and laying on a half risen bed.
She seemed unsettled and disturbed. With the surface of the picture, rumors began to surge that the popular TikToker was having a seizure. The root of this rumor has not been identified yet, but however, it caused many to panic. The fire department was sent to the Sunset Plaza in case she was in a seizure.
Before rushing to the hospital she was evaluated by the medical team who made sure that she got the emergency treatment.
However, the parents of Dixie were scared as they came across all these kinds of news. They could not actually understand what was happening.
Dixie did not let her fans stay worried for a long time as she provided a health update via her user account on the platform Snapchat. As per the snap update, she informed her fans that she was feeling better. She also added that soon she will be on her way to be a part of the launch of a new shoe venture by her family.
The Tiktoker used Snap to send a series of snaps in which she communicated with her fans and followers. Along with sharing her photo, she had selected the questions about her flowers and indeed replied to them.
In the photo, she looked like she was in hospital. She was wearing a mask and she had attached wires to her chest areas which seemed like ECG wires. Dixie was sitting with her mobile in her hand and she looked down towards the mobile and clicked the snaps. There were a total of three electrode wires attached to her chest.
The netizens arrived at the conclusion that she was fine. If she was not better the hospital authorities will not be letting her take photos with the wires on her.

Dixie rose to stardom for her trending videos on TikTok. Additionally, she has established herself as a singer. She has more than 3.3 billion likes on TikTok and above 57.5 million subscribers. She is also known for her presence on other social media platforms such as Instagram, and Youtube.
On Instagram, she has more than 23 million followers. On YouTube, she hosts a talk show by the title of The Early Late Night Show.
Amelia is a young star and earlier she was part of the television series Hype House along with her sister Charlie D’Amelio. Dixie is 5ft 6 inches tall. She is actually from Norwalk, Connecticut. Later she moved to Los Angeles along with her sister Charlie and her parents.
She is the daughter of Marc D’Amelio, her father, and Heidi D’Amelio, her mother. Her father is also a known personality in TikTok. Her entire family is famous as the D’Amelio Family and he calls himself the CEO of the entire family. Earlier in 2018 he ran for the State Senate of Connecticut under the banner of the Republican Party.
Her mother has a strong background as a captive dancer which her sister inherited. There was also news that she was dating her fellow TikToker Noah Beck.
Dixie was the first among many to flag the importance of mental health over anything. She advocates for the mental health of a person. She has said that for a long time, she ignored what has been going on in her life with the hope that those things will get figured out on their own or she will just procrastinate for some other day.
