The boys are squabbling. Even if many social media fans are still gushing over the round of celebrity costumes for Halloween 2022, it seems like an altercation between actor Michael J. Ferguson and Diddy almost happened.
According to reports, the Power star and the billionaire argued and security intervened as things threatened to get physical. Fans are picking sides, as is only natural.
What caused Michael J. Ferguson and Diddy to come so close to fighting? Here is what we know.
Diddy dressed up as a joker for Halloween, and when he ran across Michael J. Ferguson on the street, it almost resulted in a brawl.
Two things are certain: Michael J. Ferguson, better known as Francis “2-Bit” Johnson on Power, has no issue picking a battle with anyone.
The Shade Room reports that Diddy almost confronted Michael as a result of his misdeeds on Halloween night while dressing as the Joker.
Diddy’s Joker costume, which included the famous red lips, heavy white facial makeup, and green hair to match his purple and green three-piece suit, rendered him naturally unrecognizable. Diddy played the role of a terrifying person while walking the streets of Los Angeles.
But as soon as Diddy approached the Power star, everything swiftly turned around. Diddy can be seen in Michael’s personal space in video footage that the site posted, with what looks to be Diddy’s security personnel surrounding Michael as he stands in front of a car.
Then, Michael can be heard calling Diddy “p—y” and repeating the phrase to an unidentified person outside of the picture. Michael didn’t appear to recognize Diddy at this point. Then he orders the security officers to avoid touching him.
Diddy appears to inquire as to who Michael is speaking to before responding, “You .”
After laughing and backing away a bit, Diddy called Michael’s bluff by declaring, “You’re a clown.”
Michael repeatedly requests that the security personnel not touch him while displaying an irate expression.
Diddy kept making fun of Michael before acting strangely.
“Hey there, baby. Do you not like me? Michael heard Diddy say. Then, get to it, muthaf—king. You motherf-king fronting if you don’t like me. Go ahead, b—h. On Halloween, don’t f-king fool with me. I’m outside and I love you, n-word.
Then, after laughing in Diddy’s face and calling him out, Michael said, “What’s up?” essentially indicating that Michael was prepared for a physical battle.
Diddy said, “It’s what up then, [n-word].” I’ll bust your s-t if you come here, I promise! You f—ing p—y, promise me you won’t ever speak to me in such an offensive manner. Love you, n-word!
Diddy continued by asking why Michael appeared to be so animated in the video. The businessman then defused the situation by admitting his identity to Michael, who was puzzled by Diddy’s disguise.
“This is Puff. The two men shook hands and Diddy urged, “Come here, give me a hug.
As the tension seemed to subside, Diddy stated to Michael, “You’re lucky because I’m really about it.
Michael informed Diddy that he had no problem taking the matter to the next level and added, “I’m with it, too.
The two men later split ways, and Michael was invited to an afterparty by Diddy.
Social media users are currently making fun of Diddy for almost fighting Michael J. Ferguson.
Halloween is a holiday celebrated with costumes; it’s not the time to stand face-to-face with a famous person.
As information regarding Diddy’s altercation with Michael becomes public, many fans have criticized the music tycoon for even mustering the strength to engage in combat. And it makes sense that Michael didn’t recognize him because he was dressed in Halloween attire and became irritated by his antics.
Although Diddy appeared to be acting rough in the video, fans noted that Michael’s attitude in the Power universe is quite similar to his real-life nature.
Diddy was on the verge of writing a check with his tongue that his hands couldn’t cash since 2-Bit is reputed to conduct his business with violence.
