Case Hospital has reimbursed Mowzey Radio for any unused portion of the cash that were paid for his medical care. The hospital or clinic that cared for the deceased person mentioned in their letter of condolence that the money will be sent to the deceased person’s immediate relatives.
“Moze Radio was transferred to Case Hospital from Nsambya Hospital after sustaining serious head injuries in Entebbe. The transfer occurred after he was taken to Case Hospital by Nsambya Hospital.
The patient underwent an emergency operation, and then he was transferred to the intensive care unit, where he remained under management until he died away on Thursday, February 1 at 7:00 in the morning. We would like to extend our gratitude to the members of Moses Ssekibogo’s family, friends, and well-wishers, as well as to His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of Uganda, and Bryan White, who made major financial contributions toward Moses Ssekibogo’s medical expenses. Mowzey Radio Bio
Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo was a musician from Uganda. He was also known by the alias Mowzey Radio, and he was occasionally referred to as Moses Radio.
Together with Jose Chameleone’s brother Weasel Manizo, he was one of the most prominent performers for the Ugandan music group Goodlyfe Crew (real name Douglas Sseguya).
Moses Radio was born and raised in the Jinja District of the Busoga Sub region. He received his primary education at Kibuye Primary school in Makindye. After that, he attended Holy Cross Lake View Jinja for his O-Levels. After that, he attended Kiira College Butiki for his A-Levels. Finally, he attended Makerere University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Sociology in 2005.
Before joining the Leone Island Music Empire in 2005, Radio released his first solo song in 2004, titled “Tujja Kuba Wamu.” At the time, he was still a student at Makerere University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Along with Weasel, he began his musical career performing as a backup singer for Jose Chameleone. In 2005, after releasing a reggae love ballad titled “Jennifer,” he experienced his first taste of popularity. Ugandan music entrepreneur DJ Erycom was the one who filmed the official stage video for that song.
In 2006, Mowzey Radio released another song under the title “Sweet Lady.” This song was also well appreciated and was responsible for introducing him to a sizable fan base in Uganda. Mowzey Radio, Weasel, and Jose Chameleone embarked on a tour of the United States and the Caribbean in the month of October 2007.
Before Radio and Weasel could go back to their house, they had some sort of misunderstanding with Jose Chameleone. After having differences with Jose Chameleone and the other two members of the group, the two of them left the group and went on to create the successful Goodlyfe Crew.
The song “Nakudata” was their debut offering, which was followed by “Ngamba” and other songs. He worked with other musicians to create songs, such as Rabadaba, whom he collaborated with on the song “Ability,” which was produced by Just Jose and included Weasel.
During the course of his singing career, he worked together with a variety of musicians from different parts of the world, garnering him a number of honors and nominations, including those from BET.
Radio and Weasel had a number of hits in 2014, including “Ability,” “Akapapula,” “Bread and Butter,” “Hellenah” featuring David Lutalo, “Juice Juicy,” “Lwaki Onnumya,” “Magnetic,” “Mr. DJ,” “Ngenda Maaso,” “Nyambula,” “Nyumbani”, etc.
