People will get creative with their costumes for Halloween, which is coming up soon. Some of them might not be easy to spot, while others are likely to be common all over the country.
Google made a scary map this year that shows what costumes people are looking for the most.
You might get some ideas about what to wear or what not to wear.
1. The Scarlet Witch
By the end of the series, Wanda has completely changed into her first Marvel comic costume. We’ve seen hints of it before, but the “WandaVision” look brings together the cape, gloves, boots, and (most importantly) the crown. This full set comes with a tight-fitting top, an ankle-length cloak, a headpiece, leggings, and elbow-length gloves. It will take your cosplay to the next level.
2. Vampire
What We Do In The Shadows is a series that was made for insider Halloween costumes. You can go for the classic vampire look, as shown above, or you can go even further. Dress up in Nandor’s 80s workout clothes from the Barenaked Ladies episode or bring back Jackie Daytona, Human Bartender. No matter what, this cast has a lot of options for group costumes and costumes for couples, so don’t overlook Nadia, Nandor the relentless, Laszlo, Colin Robinson, or Guillermo de la Cruz.
3. Princess Diana
Last year, Kristen Stewart was nominated for her first Oscar for her role as Princess Diana. Now is the perfect time to dress like a famous royal lady. Plus, her go-to athleisure outfit is easier than ever to put together. All you need are a pair of biker shorts and a sweatshirt to make a recognizable costume that can also be worn as stylish loungewear all year long.
4. Stranger Things
In the most recent season of the Netflix show “Stranger Things,” Vecna joins the cast as a new bad guy. This mask is all you need to become the most dangerous person who is after Hawkins.
5. House Of The Dragon: Valyrian
One of the best parts of the Amazon Prime show “House of the Dragon” happened Sunday night. Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen got married in a Valyrian ceremony while they waited for their enemies to pay for their wrongdoings. Even the king can’t stop a Valyrian wedding from happening in Dragonstone, so who will be the Rhaenyra to your Daemon this year?
6. Elvis Presley
Get over to HBO Max right away if you haven’t seen Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” movie with Austin Butler. Then let’s start making plans for some truly epic costumes based on Elvis. Rule of thumb: if you’re going to dress up as the King, go hard Vegas Elvis. And luckily, there are a lot of different Vegas Elvis looks to choose from on the internet. There is a white jumpsuit costume waiting for you, whether it’s Baby Elvis, Doggie Elvis, or a slightly cheaper version of the high-end Elvis with a cape.
7. Velma From Scooby Doo
Velma is a gay icon and an important part of the Mystery, Inc. team. All you need is a great orange sweater, a cool pair of glasses, and a sharp mind. And if you don’t want to put the outfit together piece by piece, don’t worry—Velma costumes have been around for decades and are always available.
8. Ms. Marvel
So many ways to make this awesome superhero come to life for Halloween. If you want the official look, there are a few good bundles that include the blue mask and pants. You could also go for a fancier Captain Marvel costume, but don’t forget the tiara.
9. Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn from DC Comics is a popular Halloween costume, and Margot Robbie’s version of the antihero has given fans even more fun ways to make a costume out of her look. With a few good props, like flashy temporary tattoos and her trademark Neoprene bat, you can become the popular villain.
10. Barbie & Ken
If you’re in a relationship, this is the best choice for you. Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie haven’t yet made their first appearances as Barbie and Ken in Greta Gerwig’s much-anticipated live-action movie, but there have been enough leaks of behind-the-scenes photos to give us ideas this year.
